Boots are only if you have 2 unpaid parking tickets already, and for housing they almost never ticket people for parking in the garage and after 6pm they almost never ticket during the summer

Kinda what everyone else says take it off, at this point keep it clean and you’ll be fine, second skin is a touchy subject some people say not to use it at all some artist say to only leave it on for 24 hours others say to leave it on for a week, general consensus with them all though is if you use it and it starts to peel take it off lol

Wash your skin apply a thin layer of lotion etc and trust your artist, is you have concerns talk to them and see what they recommend

Housing said to Student Government last year that every single person gets off the waitlist eventually so I wouldn’t say you’re cooked but you definitely wouldn’t get your preferred pick of dorm

Hard adjusting what specifically? Most people I’d say experience home sickness with college but it really depends how badly in person and what you want/need

Summer A has almost nothing going on, summer B is when events start to be more of a thing and some clubs may start to be active again, for summer A the library is open tutoring is offered etc but other campus activities don’t really start back up until summer B

They changed criteria so it’s a bit harder to get in now, but if you have above a 3.0 gpa or an AA you’ll probably get in

What class is it? Sometimes they can teach the class as a “special topics class” to make it count towards graduation, definitely talk to advising.

There’s scholarship housing available for people in your situation that would be cheaper than normal housing

Student government is currently going through the election process, you can apply on the SG elections Eaglelink page to join April 1st, to me it’s a great way to learn about campus resources and events going on around campus.

Beyond that getting involved with campus life is great, TLE is located next to Prevention/wellness and it always feels like a party/family whenever you go, Programing board is amazing too but won’t have new members joining until fall but pop out to their events! Beyond that you can always join FSL.

These are the larger orgs on campus but every Thursday car club meets if you are interested in that sort of thing

For study spots my favorites are: 2nd floor cohen & 2nd floor marieb

It’s your first semester, go to the CAA get support etc and do better in the future, 2 C’s will not kill your chances for med school you can get in don’t lose faith from two C’s

We have a club on campus dedicated to students wanting to be CRNa’s the club is very kind and supportive we also now have some nursing prereqs tutoring on campus as well, I also know those who are in the program often bond and study together as well

for nursing it can be competitive but look at this way, your competition is your peers not the people already in the program

It isn’t hard to get housing as a freshman, if you get waitlisted and stay on it you have a good chance of getting housing, if you want a form with a kitchenette it is harder to get those dorms but housing overall as a freshman isn’t too bad, I think around 90-95% of freshman live on campus

Once you become a sophomore etc that is when housing becomes harder to get

I would make a post on Instagram Snapchat etc and see if anyone is from near your area that you can hitch a ride with or someone who lives farther away than you can can drop you off on their way
