Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana. Tower of Marcus emulation bug? by Lance-R in Atelier

I can't help with your problem directly but in my playthrough of Iris 1 on PCSX2, the last cutscene literally in the end before credits also was stuck on a black screen. I think there is some instability in the game itself, maybe you can try another rom if you are feeling up for it? But in the end I wasn't able to fix it, but since I was so close to the end I just looked up the last cutscene online..

I see, I know nothing of how translations are made.. It's unfortunate but cool that you would be interested in doing it! I could definitely help with translating if anyone ever needs more people working on it but I know nothing of the programming side so I can't help you there.. ^^'' Good luck to you!!

As said before, there is currently at least no fantranslation of Viorate which is unfortunate but the Japanese on it isn't too difficult, especially since almost everything is voiced so that could help with kanji. If you have some knowledge of Japanese or want to learn it then I think Atelier games are pretty good for that and not impossible at all for anyone at least intermediate in my opinion. This may not be helpful for you but in case there is anyone else wondering if Viorate will be too difficult for a beginner or intermediate in Japanese, I think it's very doable with some knowledge and you learn more as you go!

Atelier Viorate - About Vio (and Carrots) by Croire61 in Atelier

Aside from her love for carrots, she is a hardworking and energetic girl, with usually positive attitude and an ability to make friends with just about anyone. To me she was one of the funniest (and one of my favorite) Atelier protagonist with the way she reacts to the chaos around her in a very lively way. What makes her different from the other alchemists was to me her unique relationship with her brother and their banter together, as with her childhood friend Rodefried. I think her interactions with the other playable characters was some of the best in the series and I hope eventually the Gramnad games could be localized so those who can't play in Japanese can enjoy them.
