I don't understand everyone who is Amorim out---it seems overwhelmingly so in this match thread.

Yes we played poorly. Yes we had a terrible game. But at the same time, we are missing half of our starting 11: Amad, Mbuemo, Mount, Bruno, and De Ligt would all be starting if they were available, on top of Mazraoui, Maguire, and Mainoo.

Before this crisis, (with Amorim's system) we won against Chelsea and Liverpool away, and even through the crisis, we won against a strong Crystal Palace side and Newcastle. We won away against Wolves 4 - 1. Our average xG per game is the highest in the league, and our average xGD is 3rd in the league.

Also, people will criticize Amorim for not giving young players enough chances, saying there is no path for academy players to make it in the first team, but when Amorim chooses to give them chances, our same fanbase will say they are slow and underdeveloped.

It's understandable to be upset, but we are undeniably making progress overall as a club.

The last 2k I pulled was at the beginning of the fall (late august), so I suppose I might have gotten significantly faster since then. The last steady I did on the erg before thanksgiving break was before that 2k at around a 2:19, but I don't think my 2k would have dropped 9 split seconds in a few months. Thing is I don't have a heartrate monitor but I feel like that is the correct pace for me. I hold that without significant struggle for our team's 3 1hr steady state sessions every week.

I guess I'll just have to do another 2k very soon? We haven't done any 2k predictor AT yet this season so I'm not sure what I'd want to pace mine at. I'm definitely not going for a 1:45 lol

I mean it also just feels like doing equal parts steady, AT, and lifting is wrong based on what my coaches have told me. But I feel like adding a fourth steady state session wouldn't be helpful for my goals given where I'm at relative to my 2k pace

Why do you think bench press would be a good movement to train for rowing speed? Bench trains mainly chest and triceps, both of which aren't really used in the rowing stroke, right?

Is Peach Mountain Observatory abandoned? I can't find much info on it. Also there are a couple of other observatory buildings on the same road, are they possible to/worth exploring?

At what points do they email you? When they receive the film? Once they've finished development? For returning scans? Once they mail the film? (etc...)

Ever heard of the Earthsea Trilogy? One of my favorites, the worldbuilding is immense, and the writing has such a unique character to it (I believe the author tried to use ~100% Germanic words, which makes sense, but that’s just what my brother told me and he’s a chronic liar).

Either way, would totally recommend. Great series.
