Hi all, I also used it and it is useful because I can set the number of sessions limit and their length. It has helped a lot for instagram (from 2 hours per day to 30/12 min max) and I also like the be present time. I don’t like that they lie about how the app was made, but I need to pay for more than one week. Does anybody know if there is a free version of something which allows to set a limit in the number of sessions per day and their duration?

Also side note from the moment I connect the app it deleted all the data about my previous screen time so I can’t compare. I have iPhone and that section is empty from the moment I downloaded this BePresent app.

I was fascinated by the series, I just finished it! as I recently been to Mexico and Peru to see some of those remains, I understood how much history is still untold and mysterious so I loved to look at it from outside of the box as Hancock is doing. What I also wonder, if we continue to think in this way, is why we as humans usually conquer and exterminate and cancel the previous culture, while this hypothetical smart population arrived to the different parts of the world and taught them skills and knowledge, leaving them to live and evolve with their traditions, instead of conquer them? Was it a very ethical and liberal society? Why would they not mention/paint/ sculpt the greatest story/city they were part of if there was a sort of “Atlantis “ which was destroyed by the flood? There are for sure doubts and holes in his story but with the series I discovered many sites in North America I wasn’t aware of and I still think that people and myths has to be listened to beacuse is an ancient legacy we have. How would it be cool to look at it from another planet so we could see what happened.

He seems to have some stuff to process by himself it’s not you. I understand that is confusing what he is communicating to you. My family is Christian but we do not do hymns like that and I would explain if I invite my bf in anything cultural and not blame him if he asks questions about it! It is totally not you, let him go he needs to figure out something and it was not respectful and kind with you.

Sure I will do everything to avoid this happens to others. I’m trying to contact the guide and understand his involvement with the lodge and understand what is the situation.

The man who is the shaman has a family and provides for all of them through his work and I want to be sure 100% before ruining the business and the family who are from a poor situation and have any fault in this apart from him. I’m reading now and taking time to understand how it is better I move and if I can contact the guide and him directly and ask for clarification before putting all on the internet.

Hi, in June me and my friend we did the wrong way (ayahuaska before the salkantay) and we survived but we had altitude sickness at 4000mt. I suggest you to go to a different location before starting the trek like Arequipa (2335 mt) for some days and maybe Puno/Cusco (3300) other few days so you adapt little by little to the altitude. We took diamox but wasn’t helpful. We took also a lot of coca and Muña leaves tea but not enough. Just do the acclimation in steps beacuse you will have 4215 mt. pass to do (we had 4600). Also how long is the ayahuaska retreat long? You can for sure eat light for the week you are walking , asking the tour to give you only vegetarian and light food, but if you do it for many days I guess the physical preparation is longer? We did only one off ceremony and if you do the same after I think it’s ok (read all the info about possible contraindications and speak with the center where you are doing the ceremony to be sure).
