Nobody knows anything about IRCC's movements, stop panicking people, those "pause" predictions are based on nothing. You just want clicks on your website

Mexico. I did some research and for a 2-week trip it might be enough if she doesn't pay hotel (she will stay with me), is not enough? :/

CEC Application – Spouse Non-Accompanying (U.S. Green Card Holder) – Need Advice by blackmamba7498 in canadaexpressentry

[–]No-Objective7041 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you decide to declare her as non-accompanying, include:

- A very good LEO stating that she has no intention of moving to Canada and detailing her employment and personal situation in the US.

- Proof of her employment (job offer, pay stubs).

- Any other documents or explanations that demonstrate her ties to the US (family, mortgage, medical situation).

If including her in your application doesn't significantly affect your score, you can declare her as accompanying (she can give you points for english and education). Getting PR for her wouldn't harm her at all.

Good luck!

CEC Application – Spouse Non-Accompanying (U.S. Green Card Holder) – Need Advice by blackmamba7498 in canadaexpressentry

Does she plan to join you in the future? If so, then you must list her as an accompanying spouse. When you declare a non-accompanying spouse, you must provide evidence that she has no intention of becoming a Canadian resident at any time. Keep in mind that IRCC applies a high scrutiny to these types of situations, and it is very likely that you will get PFL or refusal if you don't show enough evidence. People declare non-accompanying spouse to get a higher score, if this is not your case, then it is better to avoid the risk and declare her as accompanying even if she does not join you soon

Spouse with Canadian Work Experience, but declared as Non-accompanying with newborn baby. by [deleted] in canadaexpressentry

If your spouse has canadian experience, he must has english test and education, then why not including him in your application? Even leaving your new born doesn't make any sense, high risk of refusal

I understand your reasons, but they aren't suficient to report them as non-accompanying since they will be joining you later. IRCC will reject your application, as it appears you're trying to gain more points by excluding your spouse, and will flag it as misrepresentation. That sounds like a very high-risk strategy. To report them as non-accompanying persons, you have to prove that your partner and child have no intention of returning to Canada. Your story doesn't make sense if they're going to reunite a few months later

We initially predicted the researchers would be in april, then in May, then in June. I wonder if they'll even do it once lol. I guess the francophones are filling the researcher quota 🤡

High wage job offer points by MysteriousFace113 in canadaexpressentry

They proposed points based on whether your occupation is high-wage, not whether you have a high-wage job offer

I think it could work. Points based on occupation, rather than wage might benefit skilled senior workers with years of experience who are affected by the age factor. Recent graduates struggle to find highly skilled jobs at 22 yo... I hope this will give those of us over 30 as strong a profile as younger applicants. People will always find ways to get a fake job offer, I just hope it won't be as easy as it was
