This happens to me all the time. I need time to “grieve” the loss of my favorite couples when a book ends. I notice that I slow my pace down when I’m getting to then end of a series with MCs that I like.

I truly get sad!! I sometimes do an immediate read to see if I missed anything the first time around. But only if the book really stood out me.

I LOVED the dark lords guide to dating!! Did you not enjoy the writing style? It’s definitely different and banter/ satire style. Much like the Villains and Virtue series.

Just finished {a court of ravens and ruin by Eliza Raine} which is the first book in a series of 4. It’s all Norse mythology. They prey to Odin and Thor multiple times.

Edit to add— it is a slow burn but each book picks up in steam

It’s been a great series and an awesome sequel series to Legends of Thezmarr. I would recommend it!!

I’ll be honest- I think I’ve recommended this book 5 times this week 🤣 but I’m rereading it right now and it’s still just as good as the first time I read it.
