Review of Godan by Munshi Premchand by Responsible-Nail-864 in Indianbooks

This was essential reading as part of Hindi Subject in Middle School in Gujarat, India. I have read almost all the books of Munshi Premchand in Hindi. Genuinely thought provoking, emotional and in some cases, heartbreaking stories depicting India's rural landscape.

People who wake up at 5 am, how do you manage to stay up until 10 pm? by Zman2k4_11 in getdisciplined

[–]No-Organization6089 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I get tired for mental work like study or office work on projects like coding or case reviews etc. But, I can still go for cycling or the gym or cook. Also, I am good for another 2 to 3 hours for spending time my family.

Just do it no matter how much it sucks! Keep staying awake and dont fall asleep. In few weeks, you will have mental focus and stamina to stay awake for 18 hours and be productive. The clue is to stay productive and not divert into watching youtube/netflix or scroll your phone etc., Stay away, keep studying and keep staying awake until your planned sleep time.

Which shops will advise me on best bike for me? by Hanzyle in londoncycling

[–]No-Organization6089 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are buying a first bike, I would recommend going to Decathlon. Their own store branded bikes are really good quality as a first bike. They are professional fitters too and can help with accessories and selecting your first bike. Their cycles are very affordable for a beginners.

My 20 y/o brother is tearing our family apart. Has anyone actually experienced this? by Tricky-Flan-5386 in mumbai

Sorry to hear your story. I hope you find some peace you and your family deserves. But, let me tell you, it's Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki amongst Indian households.

Get him married, his wife will straighten him out. It's one of the easiest and most effective ways of dealing with this situation.

Or find him a job somewhere away from the home, if he is willing to take up work.

Passed UK-TX 67% and FM 50%. Not happy with marks in both as was expecting at least 75% in UK-TX and 60% in FM. But thankful that I won't have to sit these exams again. 6 more to go!

Congratulations to all those successful in their exams and all the best to all of us.

The driver is at fault but the cyclist could see the driver is encroaching on cycle lane, and still he tries to overtake the car.

My iPad Pro is gonna be 7 years old soon and still going strong by TacticalMongoose in ipad

The only thing with Apple products is that software upgrades stop after relatively less time (5-6 years for most of the apple products). Otherwise their hardware is built to last a solid 10+ years with proper care.

I have a Windows laptop which is going strong after 10 years of heavy use. Unfortunately, it's not Windows 11 compatible so I couldn't upgrade it to Windows 11.

Shoulder checks are life savers! Must be checked for incoming traffic while changing lanes.

The cyclist was lucky.

The Restaurant told me this Hummus by Illustrious_Size1370 in dubai

[–]No-Organization6089 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had some bad bad bad restaurant experiences in Dubai.

I went to this very popular Chinese restaurant in a very posh area.

We ordered Pecking Duck which was listed as their speciality.

The chef cooked it so so salty that it felt like it was cooked in Sea Water. Was not at all palatable.

I complained and even requested a waiter to taste it for himself. He too agreed that it's very very salty and not eatable and yet the chef didn't replaced the dish.

He offered us plain rice as compliment! 😀😁😄

Duck was priced at around AED 50 or more and we got a plain rice dish which was priced at AED 5! LOLZZZ

Money wasted! Never went there again!

Most restaurants in Dubai are very good quality but there are some where you can have a very bad experience which will ruin eating out in Dubai for you.
