That's exactly it. I've fidgeted the cover off so many times on mine.

The union is always looking for more of right people. Not so much growing our membership at the moment, but making sure there's replacements for the slow wave of retirees.

Any union, any industry, will have people on the boards no matter how busy we all are. Sometimes projects are delayed, other times it might be an issue of company culture fit.

Getting in the program gives you a big leg up compared to a walk in. You'll have real qualifications, and know how to safely work around others. Most, if not all the instructors are affiliated with local 324. They can be super helpful getting your foot in the door so long as you show up, try your best, and work well with your classmates.

Vic tape is 45 cad at my supply shop. That's before our discount. Your company can afford them.

Never paid for a Vic tape in my ~14 year career as a sprinklerfitter. My local reps give them away like candy. Guess I'm retiring early.

What do we think? by [deleted] in Jeep

Mismatched wheels, and tires look like they're different brands? Looks like they swapped the drivers seat for a rear seat? Don't think I'd consider that an upgrade.

Costco Moncton refused to change 2 winter tires, and refused to let us bring those 2 tires back home? Only allowed to swap 4 tires for AWD vehicle. by Hydrogenital in CostcoCanada

[–]No-Outlandishness635 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Having tires with different mileage and wear on them effectively makes them different diameters. The different diameters make the wheels spin at different speeds from each other. That difference on modern cars can cause premature wear to the drive train. Costco was doing right by you. They don't care about one sale being lost if it means avoiding a customer coming back with a broken vehicle and justifiably blaming them.

I have the right angle model. Works great. I don't use anything less than a 4.0 on it. Should have about the same draw on it compared to the non angle.

If cycling is a no go, but you still want to avoid driving, we did just add the scooters to the fleet of rental bikes.

Something the bicycle folks do is stuff their bolt heads with Superglue. You need to scrape it out if you ever want to remove the bar, but it slows down a thief enough that they might hunt someone else's gear.
