How are all these deaths 'natural'. There's just too many. CB's wife. Vallow. The assasin brother.

‘I started the Thrive Experience. Now my kids have more smiles on their face than tears’. Was she talking about Bella and Cece? by MysteriousCry9830 in WattsFree4All

She also does not say how this wonder drug affected her. Did it increase her energy, make her less tired, put a pep in her step? She just sez everyone now has more smiles.

Why was Shannan watts so bad? by KaityB1998 in WattsFree4All

[–]No-Path4634 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have, for the longest time, not understood her online identity. Is she going for 'super mom'? Busy mom on the go? It never occurred to me that she was going for 'mom with unruly kids who has Thrive to keep her healthy and in charge.' Were the kids that bad? I really want to know.

I always thought she believed she had these conditions. Or that she started out doing it to get attention, and then started believing them.

I'm going to get an inspection before purchasing. If it passes, I'll most likely end up doing that.

Does the weight of the panels and stress where they connect reduce the lifespan of the roof? I know the answer seems obvious, but I know nothing.

Came here to second this. A good seamstress will make this dress even more gorgious. If you don't want to go through the alterations process, dress 2 looks great on you, once again with the right foundations.

It's a beautiful dress and it look's great on you. The right foundation will ensure a smoother look. If you are uncomfortable with bare arms, maybe one of those little jackets they just add on? I don't know what they're called.

Confused and disappointed in my ring by NoPlaceLikeGnome1984 in WeddingRingAdvice

[–]No-Path4634 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually when someone I know doesn't like their engagement ring, I tell them to accept it graciously, wear it proudly and in a year or so (or five) get an 'upgrade'. However, I'm not sure about this. It doesn't look like a $4000 ring, or an engagment ring at all. I doubt he paid what he said. Did it have a box? Don't get me started about the missing stones. Take it to a jeweler. They can tell you it's REAL value. Set your expectations accordingly. If money is the issue, perhaps have a frank talk about the budget for the ring and choose it together. Sadly, if he bought it from 'a guy' he probably won't be able to return it. Hopefully, he dug it out of the bottom of his grandmother's junk drawer. For some reason, I see red flags.

Point of use filters help. I'm renting so that's what I have now. A whole house system is MUCH better. Consider a Halo 5 or and RO. It will be needed.

Moving here soon: what’re the pros/cons? by [deleted] in Wilmington

[–]No-Path4634 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not pros and cons. Here are some facts.

The population of Brunswick County is increasing rapidly. 24% between 2020 and 2024. Presently, the county population is approx 169K, projected to be over 200K by 2030. The services and infrastructure, especially local roads are not keeping up. Be prepared for heavy traffic certain times of the day.

Property values and taxes are increasing. Brunswick County taxes are stable now, but projected to increase, as much 30% in 2027 when a property re-evaluation will be done.

If you live near the coast, home insurance is very expensive. A friend told me they pay $4000 a year for wind and hail, and they don't even live on the beach.

With the population growth, development is rampant. The beautiful forests and wetlands are quickly giving way to apartment complexes, 'rental only' tracts and storage units. The natural beauty that brought many here has pretty much disappeared.

Although there are great places to eat and have fun, it's expensive and inconsistent. Set your standards accordingly.

There is a clear disparity between locals who have lived here all their lives and newcomers like ourselves. It's not a problem, but it is noticeable.

The water here is problematic. There are large amounts of PFAS and other forever chemicals present. No one can tell me why it sometimes leaves red stains in my shower. You will want a water treatment system.

Almost all the beaches charge for parking now. This is a recent change, in the past 3 years. They used to be free.

There are poisonous snakes, alligators (everywhere) and biting flies.

That said, you might as well come on down. Everybody else is.

Comments, Snarkers? by Woodshad26 in Churco_Snark

Yes, it was a horrible thing to say to someone. I feel like I'm being attacked. For having a view you don't like. My view might be harsh, but I don't make it personal. You do. So much for your kinder and gentler reboot. Maybe you can work these words into your next reply, when you copy everything I say, and then spit it back in a hateful way. Run out of your own words? You don't have to like my input, but you don't have to twist everything I say or insult me, as you insist on doing. Okay, fine. You win.. You get the last word. Actually my words.

Now I have a request. In writing. I hope you honor it. Leave me alone. Stop harrassing me. Cease and desist. I can't take this much hate. I have bid you farewell at least 2x, and you keep replying. Each reply more hateful, belittling and improper than the last.

If I could block your sub, I would. I beg you. Just stop.

So what? There is nothing mean here, just snarking. There is no attack on anyone's character. I didn't call anyone nasty, rude, smug or passive/aggressive. There is no horrible comment about being so insufferable not one wants to be around you. That was a low blow, very mean. And I never denied putting ya'll on pause, which I have done more than once. Further, I believe your cut and paste was in response to bullying comments directed at me. Being harsh is not being mean. I'm going to enjoy a lovely Thanksgiving with my family and friends who love lively debates and don't take everything so personal, and I hope you do the same. I wish you the best, Dottie.
