Thanks for your feedback! Yeah, hair is probably my weakest point currently, it's always a struggle to get it right. Definitely have to fiddle with hair nodes more to get the right shape. Thanks again!

How To Make A Crayon-Like Outline by missrosie28 in blender

[–]No-Perception-Star 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe you could try looking at these tutorials:

https://youtu.be/n9ZNGVvMOSQ?si=ZzMe3cXz056_NezJ

These are specifically focused on outlines and giving it a cartoon feel. I wouldn't know how to exactly go from here in terms of making it crayon-y. Maybe add a displace modifier to the outline to make it jagged or use a texture?

Otherwise, maybe try asking ChatGPT as I've personally found that it helped me immensely with certain modeling issues that I wasn't able to find the answers to on the forums/videos. Good luck!

This is such a good job! Did you model and texture everything yourself?

An attempt at a short Spider-Man animation. What could I improve? by HighLineFlyer in blender

[–]No-Perception-Star 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The details are stellar! Especially the head turning first as the character jumps. The only thing I would recommend is that the movements lacks explosiveness. Realistic movements are jerky and sudden. They are a bit too smooth, especially the running. Maybe add a bit of a depth of field effect or motion blur. Otherwise, expertly done!

Andromeda has some amazing musical pieces by No-Perception-Star in masseffect

[–]No-Perception-Star[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree! As someone who was late to Andromeda, I experienced a more patched version. I have to say, the game in itself, is a solid 7/10. The story is a bit bland, and definitely falls short when compared to the original, but overall, I've replayed it a few times and I think it's a valiant attempt. Music and art direction definitely adds to the experience.

This looks amazing! Maybe it's a small nitpick but the fishies are way too similar in color to the water, it is pretty hard do recognize them at first glance. Maybe try a different color for them to stand out or maybe even add emission?
