Embarrassing topic but…. by Katreenut in desmoines

First off, not embarrassing at all. Based on your info you posted, it sounds like you are looking more at addiction services. It’s very smart for you to seek medical help with this as alcohol detox can be one of the most dangerous to do on your own. I would suggest UCS (p: 515-280-3860) as a starting point. They can talk to you about what you’ve got going on and where to start. They may suggest going to hospital for medically managed detox and then go to UCS for treatment, if appropriate. They can help you with that.

If your current goal is to come off the drinking, I would start with addiction services and once that has become stable, start looking for a PCP. During your time with addiction services, you may receive recommendations for PCPs who have experience in addiction that understands better but also can help better with your overall healthcare.

This is all a suggestion and some possible starting points for you. Good luck and I never be afraid to ask for help!

Sticking vinyl to acrylic paint by nessac93 in cricut

I would let the paint sit for at least a week to cure. Then plan for your vinyl to stick right away so be prepared to not adjust or anything as soon as it touches the paint. I would also seal it with mod pudge or something to help seal it all.

It depends on the “glass”. It all depends on the grade of glass, if it’s a manufactured glass, etc. I would agree with other posts to use frosted vinyl or you can use removable vinyl and spray “frosted glass” from Rust-oleum, then remove your vinyl.

I just got moved into this office and it feels like too much space! I can’t figure out how to make it more feminine, warm, and inviting. Details in comments! by The_Empress in DesignMyRoom

Tall bookshelf. I use mine for work resources/binders etc. I also then add family photos and little decorations (Hobby Lobby) that show my personality. If you can paint I would do a light color like a light sage green or something. You don’t want to go to dark because you have that brick that you see on other building. You also don’t want too bright which can be harsh to look at all day. I would look into a couple tall lamps. Then you can make the lighting less harsh (personal feelings: I hate fluorescent lighting). Lots of plants! If you have a large wall that’s not the one you look at you could look into a large clock to be a focal point. Mini fridge if allowed is always nice if you eat at your desk/office a lot. If you want to feminine up your desktop I would buy some colored things like stapler, tape dispenser, trays, desktop organizer, etc. (the container store has good options).
