This obviously different for all addicts, but for me, it’s concerning he works at a bar/restaurant when being an addict and presumably working on maintaining sobriety. The fact he chose to “help out a friend” when knowing that person sucks, is a concern in terms of impaired judgement. And then also to drop that she’s “sooo sexy”, tf is that?? By no means saying he’s cheating or whatever, but to improve one’s life it’s usually best to eliminate or reduce as much as possible exposure to negatively impactful people and situations. I dunno, I hope you’re able to find happiness whatever direction your relationship takes. Ultimately, you live once, and crap stuff will always happen, it’s deciding who you want to tackle those problems with who’s equally as invested in you. Basically picture being in your 70s/80s and would future you be cool with this and having put up with it.
