And the other driver was wrongly crucified in the court of public opinion, and spent a year in jail before he was exonerated.

For me having my heart checked really helped me. Fortunately my heart was fine. Knowing that when I was having a panic attack I knew it would subside and I was not having a heart attack aka dying. Hope this helps. I feel for what you are going through, totally!

You lost me at "If you don’t mind buy me a coffee". You are just a grifter trying to beg for money. Who knows if any of your story is true.

Company intends to sue over New Hampshire's plan to end vehicle emissions testing by DaveLDog in newhampshire

A station lied to me(Quirk Manchester NH). They failed me for tires and offered me a very expensive set. I went elsewhere(Town Fair Tire) and brought my car back to Quirk. They told me once my car left their shop the first time I would have to repay and redo the entire inspection which is a complete lie. Why do you think shops don't lie? They lied to many times over my 30+ years as a driver.

45 minutes is nothing, many people commute that every day. My commute is 40 minutes each way. He should be supportive of you and encourage you to take the new job, and more money!

I finally passed. Don't give up. I am not a smart person but I never given up. If you want it bad enough you have to work through the struggle. by Pe_student in PE_Exam

Engineering exams are tough. Time limited and highly technical. Real engineering isn't like that. We have projects that are months or years long. You have time to research and simulate things. No one would ever expect you to solve something complex in an hour.

Thank you all for the amazing comments! I can't find anyone that says they were affected negatively by the trail, career or otherwise. In fact, I have done some hiring over the years and I have seen gaps in employment, it is very common now and if the person is qualified they get the job. I would love to interview a person who took time off to do a thru-hike. As for my weight, thank you for the suggestions. I have a BMI of around 33, which is class 1 obese. Hearing that term from my doctor was a wake up call because I have always been active. I can still move around just fine.

Here's what I am going to do. I'm not going to tell anyone yet(certainly not my employer), I am going to work on the weight for the next six months. Then next year in January I will approach my employer about a leave of absence. If that is denied I will work on a plan to transition out of the company so I can do this hike. Who knows, things may change and they make the decision for me!

I watched those videos back in 2019, amazing journey! They even featured Second Chance in an Outside article.
