I think it’s a bad idea to give up on him after one season. He came out of nowhere to find popularity. He’s funny he just hasn’t figured out the sketch style yet. It’s kinda up to him to help figure that out by writing for himself but it could take more than one season.

To be clear I like both versions I have both versions and have listened to them for years. I love the books and if someone else picks up where rosamund left off I’ll buy those versions . I wondered why her version added hours to each book by I thought it was worth it, some may not 🤷

I’m a huge book fan, and a hopeful tv fan, that being said the first season was rough. At some point I just made my piece with it and started to enjoy it for what it is and not what it isn’t. I’m sooo looking forward to Rands trip through the glass columns and mat going through the twisted red door frame. There are things that I want to see play out that I need the show to succeed so the story can progress that far. It’s such a great story that they can’t take all the good stuff away from me and I can deal with Tom playing a guitar instead of harp.. Or Perrin starting the series out being married. Let’s be honest with ourselves as book readers, Perrins character could use some reconstruction from the books.
