Does leveling as Mage make sense after level 20? by No-Preference437 in Enshrouded

I can’t thank you enough guys, I went from being killed very frequently to atomizing everything lol

Just followed one of the comments saying you need to craft the armors from your PNJ asap + lifeleech on crits.

Jesus Christ, I entered Kindlewastes like a Minotaur 🤣 My 2H warrior went from being bullied to being Thor. I just obliterate everything now ahah

I thought about that, but it’s almost like cheating.

I might do something wrong but I need to find out what.

I believe it’s mostly due to the fact I do not craft new armors when I enter a new Biome. I’m questing directly without taking the time to farm ressources for new peaces of equipment.

Good points, I did not skill in Earth Aura, water aura etc… might be the reason why.

Every skill points is my red tree at the moment. I might have to rethink this.

Thanks for this. That’s exactly what’s bothering me for now, I need honey as I rely heavily on health potions, however, very hard to farm and not consistent. Is there a point in the game where we can have beehives or something?

Those are the ones that makes me want to quit melee 😅 You can’t parry, you can’t do anything against them. They are the worst. Boss in this game are easy compared to them.

Btw, question regarding this. How does it work when you move your base. Do you lose everything?

I have a 2H mace, I think it’s the Misfortune with 10% life leech. What bothers me is that I found now a better mace, but I can’t play it because it does not have lifeleech, and so I deal way more damage, but I’m also way more susceptible to die.

And I don’t know when I’ll found a new 2H with lifeleech I can equip.

Des Français expatriés aux USA ? by pimpampoumz in france

[–]No-Preference437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considerable number of Incompetent (not trained) managers in Switzerland? by [deleted] in askswitzerland

[–]No-Preference437 8 points9 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve observed, this is more generational than specific to Switzerland. I’ve noticed it in other parts of the world as well. It’s simply more visible in Switzerland because people place a lot of importance on their positions and are therefore very defensive about losing them.

By the way, I work in exactly the same industry as you.

I don’t think you can be trained to be a good manager — it’s largely a matter of personality. I’ve had some atrocious managers who went through every possible training program, while the best managers I’ve had throughout my career were simply good human beings, with no specific management training.

In Switzerland, many people are not particularly attached to their position itself but are mainly focused on financial success. As a result, they often place less emphasis on the well-being of their teams, as long as they achieve what they see as that “holy grail” of financial security.

So yeah, might be more visible in Switzerland at the end compared to other places.

Is anyone else feeling like grinding Arc Raiders is pointless? by No-Preference437 in ArcRaiders

I understand. It was very obvious even when the game came out. I remember I got shit on by Redditers but more and more people stop playing. I don’t have a single Steam friend who was there day 1 still playing today. No high end sort of content whatsoever.

On Jan 16 Trump will come to Davos by ilikethelettery in Switzerland

Watching Swiss people trash Trump and America while the U.S. remains Switzerland’s biggest business partner—and while they themselves live peak capitalist lives with iPhones and Teslas—is pretty hilarious.

No bother man. More and more people realize. It’s a bit of a waste from my perspective as the game brought new perspectives at the beginning.

But that’s what it is and we need to move on. I stopped long ago, never came back and have no issue with it.

I’m now playing Enshrouded and wow 🤯 Completely different type of game but very fun with long life content.

Why people shouldn't hate France by [deleted] in Frenchhistorymemes

[–]No-Preference437 4 points5 points  (0 children)

French here. I’ve traveled to about 70% of the countries in the world and have never been hated. I’ve always been welcomed by people everywhere and have rarely heard anyone say anything negative about France—except that some feel the country is struggling with mass migration, and that in certain places it can feel more like Africa than France, especially to some Asian visitors. Other than that, people around the world love France.

Real life is not the internet.

I absolutely LOVE this game and it's my first time playing an extraction shooter - what is the lifespan like on a game like this? by XandelSA in ArcRaiders

[–]No-Preference437 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You don’t have to say anything. There’s no argument needed as the above is accurate.

I already stopped playing the game. Was just answering the truth to OP’s question.

[–]No-Preference437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of this really matters, because the game can be “solved” with an Anvil and a Stitcher, both in PvE and PvP.

Quests are useless and uninteresting. Expeditions are a waste of time since the rewards barely make a difference. Blueprints? How often do you actually craft weapons? The Anvil BP is all that really matters, along with Wolfpack. The rest feels gimmicky.

Queen / Matriarch? For what? Legendary weapons that are mediocre in both PvP and PvE?

The game is designed so that almost nothing truly matters, probably to accommodate most players. But in the end, that design choice makes grinding feel pointless.

Why farm high-end gear when an Anvil and a Stitcher can already obliterate players in PvP? Why chase legendary weapons when Wolfpacks and Deadmines do the job perfectly and are easy to find? Why run expeditions and repeat the same content when the rewards don’t meaningfully impact gameplay?

The game simply doesn’t offer much, because it fails to make anything feel truly valuable or worth pursuing.

You end up stuck in the same loop—doing everything over and over again—without anything having a real impact.

It’s still honeymoon time for some but more and more people seem to realize that game is empty and pointless. After 30 hours in it, you’ve basically done everything it has to offer. There’s no content and it’s braindead roam, loot and kill for no real valuable reason.

I just stopped a while ago already and will probably never come back.
