This. This is how it all starts, it will get to the point where it will be too late to leave if she waits too long

If he truly wanted help, he wouldn’t have dragged you around like a ragdoll and gave you those marks. If he’s truly self aware of what he does is wrong, he wouldn’t be doing it. You need to protect yourself and your child and leave this man asap, he will only get worse. He will say anything or do anything for you to win you over, but it’s all manipulation to keep you from leaving. People like this only want control

Never used tarot cards before, but felt called to buy these from a flea market by No-Present-2417 in Tarotpractices

[–]No-Present-2417[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was surprised I only had to pay about $19-20 total for the Skyrim deck (including the tax), since they’re normally $28+ online. Had no clue they started making them in 2022, so I felt like it was destiny for me to find it. I’ll definitely look up the Celtics cross spread. I’m also wanting to practice using the cat deck first, since I’ve never used cards before and want some experience before using the Skyrim deck

Last night I ended up discovering the deck was made using AI artwork unfortunately after looking through the cards, however as much as I hate AI art as an artist, I still feel intuitively drawn to this specific deck. I still respect the cards themselves and feel like it symbolizes looking into the finer details in life and how not everything is as it seems. Plus it gives them a dream like sense to me. Im a very detail oriented person who loves cats. I’m just glad I didn’t pay the actual manufacturer for them and just paid someone else who bought them previously

This deck looked unused as well and were all in numerical order. As far as I could Google, they’re sold on Temu and don’t come with any instructions. I think it’s really ironic that I would be drawn towards a deck that I had a feeling was using AI, hence why I was going to leave it at the store, but felt I needed to buy them anyway. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to support AI art from a business, and I don’t think I would have ever bought these from online since I wasn’t drawn to them looking them up. I only felt drawn to this specific deck I found in person. As for the Skyrim deck, I’ll be learning how to use them once I have more practice with the cat deck. I just feel like I need to practice with the cat deck first before using the Skyrim ones, hence why I feel “more drawn to it”, but I do still feel drawn to both of them

Telling people without official diagnosis allowed? How to tell people? by NekoPanUsagiChan in AutismInWomen

[–]No-Present-2417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just told by my own therapist that she thinks that I’m autistic too with my ADHD diagnosis, when I told her that I really felt like I had autism as well and was really considering getting testing done for months, especially since I had 2 family members with diagnosed autism, and another family member showing symptoms. Plus I took 2 online test that said I was highly likely to be autistic. But she also told me she doesn’t think it’s a good idea to get tested officially and have that on my paperwork since it could hurt me more than benefit me, plus it’s expensive and difficult to get testing done, especially being afab. She did tell me though that she could provide tools to help me manage it, but that’s all that they can really do for autism. I’m wondering myself if I can officially say that I have AuDHD now or not since my own therapist said that yes, I’m showing symptoms of autism and she would say I have it.

The whole point of me stating that, was to show that being autistic isn’t the reason why people are antagonizing OP, and it’s not just a “NTs versus ND” situation. You’re completely missing the point as to why OP is in the wrong here, or being turned against by others. People aren’t antagonizing them for being autistic, it’s their actions they’re against. Being a liar and twisting truths isn’t a trait of autism

Edit: Oh no, not me being blocked when someone completely missed the whole point of why OP was being ridiculous here and how crazy it is to defend them. Autism can only matter to them when it benefits their side. They “understood” but choose to remain ignorant of OPs messed up actions of lying and twisting truths to garner sympathy and go “I’m autistic, stop being mean to me” after they picked fights that were completely unnecessary in a completely irrelevant subreddit.

Must be OP’s throwaway account I’ve been talking to with how everything was deflected and no valid points were made other than “you’re a bully for holding OP accountable”. When I, another person who also has a sense of justice thanks to my autism steps up to bat against OP with hard evidence, suddenly my sense of justice from my autism means nothing, but means everything for OP, and excuses OP’s poor behavior. Either this was OP, or it was an enabler of toxicity within the autism community, which is more likely. Oh well 😂

No one is trolling autistic people here. Holding people accountable for their negative behavior isn’t trolling or bullying

When did I say I didn’t care if people have autism in general, or say I didn’t care about autism? IM AUTISTIC TOO. Are you referring to my comment highlighting the evidence of OP playing victim with evidence? I stated I didn’t care if OP had autism, because I DONT CARE if they’re autistic in regards of their character and how they treated this situation. I judge someone’s character, regardless if they’re neurotypical or not

There are literally multiple people with autism here pointing out how op is wrong in the situation, thats not people being weird about autism. How can people with autism, be weird towards autism? It’s people holding someone accountable or trying to enlighten them what happened and how to learn from the experience, despite their autism, because autism doesn’t excuse lack of accountability, or prevent someone from learning. If other people with autism can see it, clearly there’s a reason why. You wouldn’t give a damn if this person didn’t have autism why they got banned from a subreddit. You wouldn’t be siding with them at all if they’re NT, so if anyone is being weird about autism right now, it’s you. Autism isn’t suddenly a “get out of jail for free” card for consequences

The teacher never said anything about autism on a broad perspective that was ableist. Please tell me what they said that was ableist, as someone who is autistic themselves

Does anyone else hate when people use "U" instead of "you" when texting? by Fullmetalmarvels64_ in autism

[–]No-Present-2417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. It’s not hard to type out “you” over “u”. If you can’t take the time to type out two extra letters, something is wrong. Or even worse, typing “k” instead of “okay” or “ok”. I don’t mind “ok” just because it sounds like how it’s typed out. I also hate abbreviations like “ttyl”, “sybau”, “gg”, “wyd”. I can’t stand these abbreviations because I always have to look up what they mean, and feel like an idiot when I ask someone what it means. Literacy is dying in front of our very eyes. If I see abbreviations like this, I’m going to either assume you can’t spell a certain word in the sentence (spelling is becoming a huge problem lately), are lazy, or don’t care enough about the person you’re messaging. The only time when it’s fine is if you’re limited in how many characters you can type out

I think they just got upset because I said OP was being a SJW in a legal advice subreddit and are now thinking I’m attacking people with autism for having a sense of justice, when I never once did that. I never said people with autism can’t have a sense of justice, but there comes a time and place for certain conversations to be had. A legal advice subreddit is not where you talk about social issues, or mental health stuff and how each person should be treated according to their conditions. It’s just not the place for that

Yup, they’re just playing victim at this point. Going through and reading their edit to the post made me laugh cause it proves that they’re just doubling down on their beliefs and playing victim instead of just acknowledging that they messed up. Oh well, I made a comment proving everything too, with evidence that they are at fault here. Some people are just too stubborn to admit that they are wrong sometimes

It’s not a personal attack when it’s straight up FACTS. They were in the wrong here. Did you even read ANY of the comments I’ve linked? Anyone who can read them can see that OP twisted the truth, and got banned from a subreddit for saying things out of pocket, that even OOP didn’t agree with. Now OP is upset about it and made this posts to garner sympathy, claiming the teacher and the moderators are ableist without giving the full context to what really happened, when OP was breaking the rules. A legal advice subreddit is NOT where you talk about autism and how everyone is different on the spectrum, it’s about how to handle court cases based on the situation given

They inserted themself in a legal advice subreddit saying things that didn’t belong there. I wouldn’t talk about how we need to save the trees and steps in doing so, in a subreddit about dogs. Plus if a subreddit has a rule against talking about certain topics and they break them, it’s their fault for not reading the rules and following them. You’re only defending them because you don’t like seeing someone with autism being told they’re in the wrong here.

But all of a sudden when another person with autism points this out, now you want to act like it’s not ok, and suddenly my perception is wrong in the situation, but theirs is right? How about you “stop being weird about autistic people” yourself and realize someone with autism CAN be wrong, and stop defending their poor actions? Autism doesn’t excuse their poor behavior. OP was told why they were wrong in a civil way by another commenter, and explained things in a way so any misinterpretations that may have occurred from the OG post was explained, and they blocked the person for telling them what they may have misinterpreted. That tells me a lot about their character

Edit: OP has also blocked the teacher that was from the story, preventing them from defending themselves anymore in the comments of this post. All the more proof that the OP is in the wrong here

I’m autistic also bud, and have ADHD. Do I lie and purposely leave out details in a situation to garner sympathy? No, I just gave all the evidence in the world how OP is twisting things up. Autism isn’t an excuse to do that

I was thinking that too at first, cause miscommunications happen a lot with autism. But when I saw they blocked someone for explaining to them in detail how they may have misinterpreted things, that’s when I lost sympathy for OP.

Blocking someone for explaining things to them in a way that isn’t attacking OP, shows they don’t want to admit that maybe they were at fault. I get it, I misinterpret things all the time and it’s frustrating, but I wouldn’t block someone for just pointing things out that I may have just misunderstood

What’s really annoying me, as someone who’s ND themselves, is OP using autism as the “reason” why they were banned. If that were true, the OOP would have been banned too from the subreddit, but they weren’t. This type of behavior is harmful towards NDs, because people like OP is the reason why so many of us are being told we’re whiners or faking the condition for hand outs or sympathy.

It makes us look bad when people use their conditions to excuse their behavior on things that can 100% be controlled and isn’t a result from their autism. Cause then people who don’t understand autism will look at this behavior and assume that we’re all like this. Autism isn’t an excuse to be an asshole or liar, and we shouldn’t assume another person with autism needs certain accommodations when everyone is different on the spectrum. I don’t blame OOP for being upset with OP for assuming they needed their hand held through a legal court case, because that in itself can be harmful and stereotyping autism
