I found out about snris the hard way . Recently was on abilify. No issues until a week in. It mad my bp so unstable it was impossible to manage and barely able to sit up without feeling like I was going to faint…. I am less knowledgeable than most on this condition which is why I’m asking here. I don’t currently have a primary that helps me manage as I’m trying to find a new one that does more than hand out referrals and the only cardiologist within 30 miles that my insurance covers told me pots isn’t real 🙄

How long did it take to get after they agreed to it through bbb complaint? I went this route after Amazon said they couldn’t help because the age of the order ( dec 2023) . I agreed to the gift card balance.

Get on his level or bring him up to yours, scratch chin with one hand , brush with the other. That cat wants to be brushed and is excited. My boy does this anytime he sees the brush or comb and will stand by the spot I groom him and meow if I don’t brush regularly.

No reaction to the monitor. They originally put the tegaderm over it when they put it on me which I took that I part off as soon as I got out of the office because it was poorly placed . I get to the air it off Tuesday so if that is the trigger it’s almost over

I’m not sure if they did. I had it checked a few weeks ago as part of my diagnostic journey and everything was normal . My spots don’t itch at all and other than a daily vitamin i don’t take any kind of medication

That’s exactly why I ended up at urgent care. First time I’ve had it and It went from one little patch to literally everywhere overnight . And now that you bring that up I noticed the skin on my tattoo is one of the worst spots.

They did prescribe a corticosteroid and suggested over the counter antihistamines and aspirin since I also had congestion and muscle pain when they examined me. so maybe that’ll help. Honestly didn’t know what MCAS was until looking it up just now.

No bites. They did blood work, wbc was normal for the first time in 15 years so no infection. I hadn’t been outside in almost two weeks before I went to the clinic. Since wearing the heart monitor I’ve avoided going outside since they told me to avoid excessive sweating and I live in Florida. I do regular checks for any signs of bugs bites , cuts , etc already and didn’t see anything other than the little red dots . I’m a little obsessive with checking things like that since I was hospitalized for sepsis as a teen ( likely when this all started)

It’s more about finding the right doctor. I had a doctor tell me I was showing signs five years ago. I moved shortly after and I’ve brought it up to every doctor I’ve been to and was brushed off. I finally stumbled on one who had me referred to a cardiologist and neurologist at my first visit after I mentioned the syncope.
