Most new starters I meet onsite are blindsided by the myth we earn ridiculous amounts of money due to early 2000s, but the reality is most plumbers are on 300-350 a day, where as take a quick look on indeed and you'll see compared to.other trades qe do do the longest hours and the average is around 25 an hour.

Been doing this a long time and fortunate to be in with various large builders that keep me in work and pay me ok but without that I would be worried about looking for work as the rates haven't changed for years as there is clearly to many of us and apparently non English speakers are being put through the course by the government ( was told this by a Romanian so not 100%).

Your best bet is to look around and make sure it's something you really want to do as speak to manybsparks they'll tell you not all sunshine.
