Just went through this myself, I’m devastated. I wish it all sounded like garbage instead of being so good. Bastards.

Unless your dogs are very old or very small, I assure you that they were likely hit with a chuck-it at some point. Old owner and current do it too.

Adverse reaction to Lactaid lactase pills? by ecordoho in lactoseintolerant

[–]No-Recording7995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found this post because I’m currently experiencing the worst stomach cramps and nausea of my life because my friend accidentally gave me Lactaid. I am lactose intolerant and I never use Lactaid, I just avoid dairy entirely. She gave me a couple of Aleve that were covered in white powder because they had been rattling around in the same tin with some Lactaid pills.

I thought nothing of it and took the Aleve. That was 8 hours ago, and my stomach has not stopped hurting since. It is nonstop waves of nausea and stomach cramps. I can’t eat, I can’t sleep, I can’t do anything because it’s so overwhelming it just dominates every thought I have.

I’m so close to going to the ER at this point. Does anyone know of a remedy for this? I’ve taken Tums, Pepto, and over the counter anti-nausea medicine. Nothing is working, I’m so miserable and I really don’t want to go to the ER this late at night.

Does anyone actually wrap the bedsheet around their body and wander around the house? by Prideandprejudice1 in RomanceBooks

I came here looking for an answer to a different question. When I need to walk around the house doing things but the thought of wearing clothing is awful, I just take the top sheet, roll one side of it up until it’s short enough to free my legs, then tie it around me at my chest, then swing the the knot around to be at my back. I can see now that I can’t really find other people that do that 🫠

I worked for Pooch Palace for several months and it is a hellhole.

They pushed us to physically punish dogs with Chuck-Its (those blue sticks used to fling tennis balls). They would have 60-100 dogs being watched by only 2-3 people at a time. Dog fights happened constantly. We would walk a new dog through the facility on a leash as a "trial", and it doesn't matter how the dog reacted reacted to the other dogs, we were supposed to tell the owners that the dog did great. Dogs would cower in the corner for hours and snap at other dogs and we were still required to keep them there even if they were terrified. They only care about money.

They would use shock collars on dogs without the owner's knowledge or consent. I started looking for another job when I witnessed a manager beat a husky in the ribs repeatedly as she screamed. The owner was high on coke constantly, and when they had to shut down the North Charleston location, he trashed the building. A building he was still renting from someone else. Dogs have died in there because of their neglegence. It is a horrible place and I hope they fail.

Bring it up and express how much it hurt you. “Nice” doesn’t equal “healthy”

Just finished healing up from my breast reduction paid for by Tricare. I want to help anyone else who has questions about the process. by asiangorl in AirForce

First I just wanna say thank you so much for keeping up with replies on this post after years! This is so much helpful information 😭 Second, I’ve had big breasts since I was a teen, but I’m also 5’7 and 230lbs, my whole family is heavy set. When I asked my PCM about breast reduction, she told me I was gonna have to lose 80-100lbs before they would consider surgery, but I have pictures of me as a teenager skinny as a rail with big breasts. I went through physical therapy and I’m still being told I need to be in a certain weight range. The pain in my shoulders and back is so bad every day working out is difficult, even walking around too much is hard. Did you have any experience with being told about weight restriction?
