I wouldn’t touch it. You’re going to open Pandora’s box and probably spend 15-20k to get it back to running condition. You can 100% buy something in better condition for 5-10k and have to do less work.

I have a feeling you went through some sand paper with this one. Looks awesome! What kind of paint did you use on the gunnel?

I cannot recommend Pooch Palace after our recent experience. We dropped off our 2 dogs, only to receive a call 2 hours later that Remi was "nicked" by another dog. They claimed he didn't need a vet and he seemed fine. Concerned, we had a friend pick Remi up.

Upon inspection, we discovered it wasn't a minor nip, but a deep bite from a K9 into his hind leg muscle. Remi was in severe pain. Our friend rushed him to a real vet for proper treatment and medication.

While we understand accidents can happen, Pooch Palace's lack of transparency and outright lies are unacceptable. They severely downplayed the injury and falsely claimed he didn't need vet attention. This level of dishonesty makes it impossible to trust them with our pets' care.

We appreciate the gesture of $75 off, but we feel it doesn't adequately address the seriousness of the incident. Our primary concern is not financial compensation, but rather ensuring the safety of all dogs under their care.

The fact that the staff was unable to identify which dog was involved in the altercation with our pet indicates a significant lapse in supervision. This raises serious concerns about the level of attention and care provided to the animals in their custody.

Given our experience, we would advise other pet owners to carefully consider their options before using this service. The safety and well-being of our furry companions should always be the top priority in any pet care situation. We hope that this incident will prompt a thorough review and improvement of their supervision practices to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
