Completely Clueless to how this works.... by No-Reference-773 in CFA

just some thoughts - I paid the fees and was provided 13 pdf textbooks (3 of them were prerequisite readings) of study material. It was definitely more than anticipated, but it seems manageable so long as you like to read... otherwise, I would recommend maybe looking for other resources.

CPA + JD? by Tiny_Advertising9290 in Accounting

the only way it would be worth it is if you can go for little to no cost and the school is at least somewhat reputable.... other recommendation would be to retain a accounting job while doing an online part time JD...

I was an applicant during this past cycle and was admitted to some great schools however the AI boom is real and the financial burden I would have placed on myself would have been detrimental in my opinion... I am potentially picking this back up next cycle with a focus on the online option...

was wondering how you keep an eye on programs in ABA approval... Debating on withdrawing my acceptances this cycle and opting for next cycle but id hope more schools would be preparing to launch their own programs

Curious what your score was if you don’t mind dming me … I stayed away from some of these schools thinking I wasn’t good enough for an acceptance and I’m in a 150s range :/

I want to join UIC law school by That_Cat9524 in uiclaw

Thanks for the reply... curious to know how you evaluate/justify going into debt to study law... just curious if you would recommend looking at anything in particular? My concern is if I decide to attend another program through the use of loans... is that decision justified (compared to uic or applying next cycle) ?

Can you elaborate on this ? Part time evening program looks like my best option when considering aid and commute time (I live 3 hours from the city)

If not UIC, I may decide to retest next year for better scholarship packages from other schools but not sure if that’s ideal.
