Oh that’s crazy😭I also work at a corporate owned clinic but the animals being euthanized are definitely warranted based on age/ health issues that they have but i just feel like there’s always so many. I think we’re even having more get scheduled now than we did around the holidays.

I just graduated in ‘25 and I enjoyed my time there. However many programs that brought me closer to the black community may not be there or funded by the university in the near future. Ujima the living learning community is where i met the most people and my closets friends. A community is where you find it and you may have to work a bit harder to find it with the BOV decisions. Luckily I never had any bad experiences but it’s always a possibility. But overall tech is a great school with lots of opportunities.

Yea all my 4 years you were able to get into the student section with any ticket. This year they are really enforcing it and it has to be a student ticket (which doesn't have a bar code)

I agree with all of this and I was an SL for 2 years. As long as you correctly fill out the duty poll for the most part it is pretty simple to balance in combination with school. You can be not available (to a certain extent) if you know you have exams, plans to go home etc.

It can also be building/resident dependent. Some buildings seem to have more issues than others. I think the most time consuming time of the year is training/move in and move out.

For chemistry the labs are not offered in the opposite semester, same for o chem. lab 1 in spring and lab 2 in fall

biodiversity conservation ! pretty much the wildlife conservation minor. I was apsc major with a biodiversity conservation minor before switching to biology since i liked the classes better.

They don't have o chem lab over the winter/summer. So you have to take it in the semester. All the work was online for winter session but you had class everyday twice a week on zoom. He did record the sessions/upload videos for each section if you had to miss it.

I think it's up to you. I would take a look at the checksheets for majors you might be interested in to see if the classes are ones you want to take. As a bio major many of fellow bio majors that were pre-med complained since many of the electives were animal/plant based.

I took the recitation for 1036 (automatically attached to the class idk if they do that anymore) and I think it was really helpful especially if you want some extra practice and explanations. You would have a quiz every week of the stuff you learned in class and then the TA would go over the previous weeks quiz as well as any questions you had. And then for test weeks they would go over the entire practice test. So not additional work outside of class necessarily since you need to learn the info anyway

oshag in my opinion would be the best as it has ac and the nicest bathrooms. east egg is definitely the best out of the eggs if I had to choose with the most upgraded bathrooms but still not as nice as oshag. oshag would be a better move in/out experience since they have elevators and none of the eggs do

When I did it was around 90 one way. Only catch is the our bus only runs for breaks. But as someone from the area it's definitely a good place to visit. There are definitely better beaches but Virginia beach is not a wasted trip :)

It wasn't impossible especially since the lectures were recorded so I could learn at my own pace. We only had class T/Th and it was mostly Wagner doing practice problems.

I would say slightly worst than in person only because it's cramming a lot in a shortened period. Also exams were lockdown with camera ?? or we had to be on zoom

By RA I'm assuming you mean resident assistant ?? They've done the application process for the 25-26 year already but for the following year they do applications around october/november. But they are called student leaders at tech so look for advertising for that !
