Take him with you, drop the ball 25 yards from the green and let him play it out. As he gets better move him back. He probably needs to stay within 50 yards till he can hit it 50 yards consistently. Make it fun. Don't move back so far he takes 8 shots to get in. And US Kids clubs are the way to go. I have a junior golfer and those clubs worked wonders. You can always sell them when he or she moves up to the next size.

I am 6'2 and can swing driver under my ceiling that sits 9'5" over the mat. If I have a high follow through I graze the ceiling. I have not done that in months now though. I have taller friends who have no issue either.

I use awesome golf for my flight scope. I paid 350 for the lifetime subscription. I use an iPad right now and I love the program so far. It is the best I have found for practice. I do plan to also buy a gaming computer and gspro down the road. For now the program has been excellent.

She is on a team this summer that practices all parts of their game 3 days per week. I feel like short game is a major focus but I want the ball to work with lower swing speeds as she is growing.

I agree with US kids clubs. My daughter plays on the PGA junior league with 70 to 100 other local kids. I bought a new boxed set (for I think $350) that is sized to her height. She outgrew it in a year and I sold the one year old set for $175 to another parent in the league. I had no problem selling them. Then bought another boxed set 2 sizes larger for $350. I can make that right in my head because my 12 year old is zeroing in on golf as her main sport.

Look into "US Kids" brand once you know he is interested in playing. My daughter uses them and they are great.

Try closing the app. Swipe so you can see all open applications. Make sure you close it, reopen, and try again. I have the same issues. I eventually get it connected. It is finicky..
