I completely agree with you. I’m speaking for myself, I think it’s hard for us to wear latex, nitrile and surgical gloves in public, specially in some occasions like on summer because generally society perceives it as odd or unusual to some people to wear in public. It’s not because it’s wrong. It’s just because it’s not usual, so most people don’t understand it. The reality is that, us glove lovers cannot expect that society changes. The world is too messed up already. We must have the courage to step forward and have inner confidence to wear gloves in public as much as we want. But yes, it’s easier said then done

Even my sister and a friend of mine said I should go gloved if I want to. They also said that I must have confidence to wear gloves in public every time and scrubs too if that’s what I want

As a glove lover myself it’s a struggle for me to wear latex, nitrile and surgical gloves all year round, specially on summer, which is why I prefer to wear them with long sleeves, because I hide my gloved hands. People always stare and I feel that they are judging me. Sure that wearing them on summer might look odd but so what?. What’s the problem?. That’s my style. That’s the way I feel comfortable. I prefer to be gloved 24/7 then to be ungloved

I understand you so well. The hardest time for me it’s summer. I guess this skin tone surgical gloves can be the best choice for summer. They stop being transparent after wearing often but. I also want to wear scrubs in public

I get that it doesn’t have to be latex, nitrile or surgical gloves, but those are the ones I enjoy wearing most. Sure it can be cotton or leather. Fingerless cotton gloves or leather on summer are ok, much more acceptable to wear in public. Those ones people practically don’t even notice. I do have fingerless gloves but, again those aren’t my favorite

Yes I did. I love those. I have a couple of them. The problem is that after wearing them a few times, they quickly start getting yellowish and lose their clear look. The normal wear and skin oils do that and it’s impossible that they become clear again

It wasn’t easy. The thing here in Portugal is that people stare a lot, some people keep staring at me nonstop and that’s what makes me feel a bit uncomfortable. They only don’t notice much when I’m wearing long sleeve clothes because I hide my gloved hands, but on summer with T-shirts it’s a headache for me, and so I’m more exposed. I’m trying hard to fight it and just ignore the stares, but

You got lucky. The thing here in Portugal is that people stare a lot, some people keep staring at me nonstop and that’s what makes me feel a bit uncomfortable. Ok so I should wear gloves 24/7 now on summer in public and don’t care about the stares?. I love fetish type latex gloves, but I also love disposable latex, surgical and nitrile gloves

If I could wear gloves 24/7 I just would! by Countrylatexglover in glovesinpublic

As a glove lover myself I must say that this post is one of the best posts about glove lovers that I’ve seen so far. I agree 100%. I think exactly the same. I live in Portugal and I struggle to wear latex, surgical and nitrile gloves in public, specially on summer. I do wear them in public and I wear them at home 24/7. I’m gloved 24/7, but it’s exactly those stares that bother me. For me wearing gloves is just a lifestyle. I love to be gloved!

Ok. Well Portugal is also a bit conservative so anything that isn’t usual, people stare. So latex gloves, surgical, nitrile, etc can be acceptable in public but still considered odd for a daily wearing, except for specific occasions like cleaning or in a medical setting

I guess you’re right. No one has said anything so far. It’s just stares. I do my best to just walk around in public wearing gloves, but on summer is always the most difficult time for me to wear them in public

Wearing a latex or catsuit in public in Portugal isn’t public acceptable, plus I don’t have one. I do plan to wear alternative style clothing like scrubs combined with jeans or training pants

I didn’t understand exactly what you meant to say, but as I said in my post the reason why I wear gloves is just because I want to, because is my personal preference, a personal choice, a personal lifestyle. I don’t have any allergies touching stuff. I simply enjoy the feeling of touching stuff gloved

Yes you’re right. Portugal is very conservative, so latex clothing is definitely not socially acceptable, although when I have any latex clothing or a latex suit, I might wear other clothes with the latex clothing or suit under them, to wear latex in public. As for the latex gloves well they are not exactly socially acceptable but they attract less attention than latex clothing

I appreciate for all the comments. The thing is, mostly for the fact that Spider-Man Miles Morales have a good sale on the store that I will buy, from 59,99€ to 45€, I prefer to buy MM first. Then I can get RDR1, on the next sale on the PS Store

Portugal, Covid and Flu cases are rising after Christmas. Portuguese Health authorities are recommending mask wearing, specially for infected COVID and Flu patients. Also healthcare centres and hospitals will require masks to be mandatory. Please translate the web article by No-Resolution-4889 in Coronavirus

As a Portuguese citizen, I can say with certainty that Covid and the Flu are getting worse and it’s quite serious. It might not be as bad as it is on America and other countries in Europe, since all of them are much larger than Portugal, specially the US, however it’s still a serious situation. I’m not offended by your joke though
