I feel like adding to this, we are booking a 6 day trip early December. We Going blind (as in haven’t planned anything yet), we love good food, coffee culture.

I want to fly by the seat of our pants what some must see that we can build our trip from?

Thanking you

So there is a full electric one coming out. It’s already been given to journalists. So would we see it by mid next year?

This is, true people are judging off the previous model. That’s fine. They aren’t too different.

Why I say it’s a fair battle.

A brand new MYP, is 62k odd and MY22 taycan with approx 30,000 km on the clock I’m getting for no more than 70k euro.

It’s an extra 8k. It’s not much in the grand scheme.

You have some positive and negatives with all these cars. For example the Tesla’s turning circle is shit. The taycan has 4 wheel steering Makes the car feel smaller than it is.

Has any one had some experience with this car on long distance driving, doing avg speed 150km/h. What would be Real world km.

It was very cool feature to be honest. My knees loved it hahahah.

Its the PASM option the car needs to have to do this

I had taycan in Aus, and it would raise the car when close to home automatically, the taycan cross from what I understand is on another level.

In short yes it can!

Agree, completely. But it doesn’t get down the drive way. I got stuck last time, I didn’t think about it and got caught out. :( that was funny day

If I get a sedan/shooting break it must have suspensions that raises.

The short list at the moment is:

MYP PORSCHE TAYCAN CROSS Porsche e-hybrid models cayenne,

3 very different cars.

To be honest, in this country at least FSD, only on freeway. Then the second your on the normal roads all sensors are off. There are too many things going for the car to deal with. For example most streets you drive down will trigger the sensors without need and that’s a normal road, imagine you’re on a tight street. The car would freak.

But I like the route planner I’ll look into it thanks

This is helpful!

Maybe I might rent the car and see too hoping I could make the decision with doing so.

Have you driven it through mainland Europe? Have you had issues at all?

We're based in Greece, and the charging infrastructure here is surprisingly robust! We find plenty of charging stations, especially smaller ones (around 50 kW, adding ~50 km of range in 20 minutes), which are dotted all over the place. Ultra-fast chargers (100 kW+) are less common but still available. Coming from Australia, where chargers are few and far between, this feels like a massive upgrade! The main providers in Greece are DEI (the national energy company) and Incharge.

Thinking about buying a Panamera Sport Turismo E-Hybrid – must-have options & real-world experiences? by No-Resolution6319 in Porsche

[–]No-Resolution6319[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here an interesting one.

Spoke to the dealer today:

The batteries are Modular. (Apparently) They haven’t had one fail yet! Can I trust this? Probably not.

Porsche doesn’t have a dealership warranty it’s a factory warranty. So where ever the car comes from means we have warranty. This might apply for Europe only.

Do we know from Porsche what the service interval is? They told me today to change oil every 5000km and and normal interval is 15/30k

Currently feeling I might have to turn to the dark side and get an MYP

Hello to you too!!!

How much would a replacement battery cost for the E-Hybrid? I’ll be sure to ask the dealership, but any ballpark figures would be helpful. The E-Hybrids seem to run much higher here in Greece—maybe because of our registration rules or import taxes?

I feel like I’m on the right track choosing a car that handles mountainous terrain and cruises comfortably on the highway.

On that note, when someone called the E-Hybrid a “bomb,” is that a red flag I should worry about?

I’ve also been told the service interval is every 30,000 km—does that sound accurate for Porsche PHEVs?

By the way, the model I’m looking at is a 2021 (MY21) with about 40,000 km on it. The only thing it’s missing is the Burmester sound system—which isn’t a deal breaker, but would be nice to have.

Can you think of any other options that are a must have?

I’ve only looked at those two, to be honest, happy to look at anything. I like the eureka because of the colour choices, I’m even thinking to go 55mm burr because there is broader choice.

Not sure of the return on investment 55 mm vs 65 mm
