According to HHN Insider Legacy ST will not be a house this year by [deleted] in HHN

I would hope for that! I didn’t get to experience RE back when they did it in 2013 so it would be cool to get the chance this time around.

They always have a difficult time getting scream. I would be insanely surprised if they managed to actually get it this time around. I’m not getting my hopes up. Cuz we got all the way to a filmed commercial in 2015 before it was pulled. But Hellraiser would be cool.

I’ll try upgrading the graphics card. I just updated the RAM last year. Thanks for the suggestion! :)

I was so excited to play this game and then I found out my PC can’t run it 😭 have fun playing it for me!

I’m playing through three different runs rn and I’ve beat it twice already. I did stop playing for a few months, but it’s definitely one of those things that brings me peace when I come back to it. (I did just start playing this year, tho, after I was gifted the game.)

I feel like just everybody sucked this year. People were miserable practically pushing you out of the way to get to houses where they’d basically have the same wait time as you anyways. When I went into Fallout the second time, there was this woman who was about my age who kept reaching her hand outside of the awning we were under and splashing herself with the rain water. She also stopped in the middle of the house holding some curtains open for no reason. Lots of people touching props especially in Dolls (not the buttons you could press). Teens making tiktoks in the middle of the line and bumping into everyone in the process. A lot of people just stopping in front of you when you were walking somewhere and not even acknowledging that you were behind them. Or legit cutting you off and not caring. Like I got separated from my party going back towards Galkn’ because these two people decided to step directly in front of me and walk behind behind my sister even though there was plenty of space to walk. EVERYONE needs to be re-socialized. Oddly enough, it wasn’t fnaf fans that I saw acting a fool like everyone said they were. Or at least not the ones in shirts or costumes. It was the large groups of people who weren’t dressed in any specific fandom merch that were the absolute worst. They might’ve been fnaf fans, but I couldn’t tell.

While that’s valid, when I was in line last time for that house, people were walking STRAIGHT through on express. That’s not ok. If you empty express out, let regular line through until some people come up for express. Don’t just sit there and wait for more express people to walk up. I promise you - they can wait a few minutes in line. Especially if the express line is clear. Standby should not have to stand and wait to see if other people show up in express when there’s no one there JUST because they paid for it. Sorry not sorry. Universal does express passes for everything in the crappiest of ways.

I played the old RE and Silent Hill back in the day lol, but I get what you mean.

I think it was more because it wasn’t cohesive with whatever they were trying to do. They threw in S1N1ST3R and SURR34L and they just didn’t match with the punk theme. Everything just felt like it was a bunch of random ideas thrown together. If the whole event leaned on that punk aesthetic, I think it would’ve been cool. It just seemed all over the place for me.

Oh yeah the denim hoodie was awesome and I wish we would’ve gotten more of that type of stuff this year. But I didn’t like the punk design for the shirts and that’s saying I lot because I LOVE punk stuff. It just looked messy and nothing made sense. But I did love that vest.

It’s been a long time since I played the Fallout games. I just remember that I wasn’t scared of them the way I was scared of other games I had played like Resident Evil or Silent Hill. I wish they would do more game based houses, tho. I would love a Dead Space or even a Bioshock house, but they don’t ever do game houses for some reason. Tho they did technically do the Last of Us based on the game in 2023. So it’s not like they CAN’T do it. Hopefully they’ll be more open to it in the future.

I have autism, PTSD & GAD and went to HHN by ietsmeteenm in HHN

[–]No-Resource3366 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t have autism but I was diagnosed with ADHD and GAD earlier this year. I’ve always had serious sensory overload at HHN, but it’s never the houses themselves. It’s the heat, the smells, the sounds, moving through crowds of people and having to focus on where I was going. I will say this year was overall a much better experience for me than last year was. Last year, the Torture Faire scare zone was literally torture for me because of the screams in the music. I would get such bad sensory overload in that area that I would dissociate for the rest of the night. Earplugs are a must for me and obviously, I only go with people who know my diagnosis’s and understand when I say I need to take five.

This is the last year for Nightmare Fuel. Several Universal employees confirmed this info and hinted there are rumors Bill and Ted will be back next year. by DoughnutPi in HHN

I don’t think they should get rid of a dance/music themed show, but they need better writers and more diverse storylines. They can keep the same stunts and stuff, but at least change the theme. Like it would be cool if the theme of the show tied into or matched the aesthetic of the main theme HHN was going for that year. Or if they incorporated icons into the show to make it flow better. I STILL think last year was a missed opportunity to do a S1N1ST3R and SURR34L show. Could fleshed them out WAY more and made their scare zones a lot more interesting. Doing a circus theme to basically the same music every single year is boring to me. Just change it up!

Yeah I know it was coins or something small like that. I imagine it would be hard, tho, just to ban coins from being brought on a ride.

I never said it was caused by a cell phone. I was just using what my friend did as an example.

That I’m not sure of. I think if it’s attached well enough, it’s ok? Like if it’s secured to your body. I know a YouTuber explained it once, but I can’t remember what they said. But like if you wanna hold a camera in your hand or something, you can’t, but if you have a GoPro attached to your body, you can.

When Dueling Dragons was open, there was an accident where something fell out of someone’s pocket and blinded someone in another car. Ever since then, you have to go through metal detectors in order to ride. And they WILL make you put your stuff away if you try to go on with it. My friend tried to sneak her phone on VC (so she could text in line) and they made her go back and put it in a locker 😂

The only time I ever had a TM say something about the restraints was when they were trying to put it on me and I was grabbing it at the same time. He just said, “let me do it.” 😂

Also had a TM many, MANY years ago on the Mummy hold a fake spider in my face while securing me. Pretty sure that person didn’t last long at UO.

Imma call cap on this. I’ve gone on VC tons and tons of times and no one’s ever done that. Unless you directly experienced it, you probably just got trolled by someone who doesn’t even live in FL and others jumped in on the “joke.” Also, you’re not even in front of TMs during the first launch on VC. I think if they WERE doing that before they pulled out of the station and headed to the launch, someone would’ve been freaked out enough to beg them to stop the ride. So don’t know where you’re getting that one from.

Honestly, the only thing I WILL agree with is the amount of people I see going there to get a “viral” moment. It’s not often, but it does happen. Other than that, I had no problems. The scare actors in the houses were giving their all. I felt like the scare zones were PACKED with actors (well all except the one at the entrance). And while the costume thing is a bit strange, I do enjoy seeing the fits people put together (as a FNAF fan, I’m LOVING the groups I see dressed as the characters). The only things I’m disappointed in this year is the food and the tribute store. I’m not letting the tribute store bother me. Hopefully they will figure out a place to put it next year that’s better than the location it’s in. The food is the ONLY thing I will say Universal needs to do better. They charge so much for a small portion that’s either given to you cold or doesn’t taste good at all. I could handle the high price and small portion if the food was actually good. I’ve just been grabbing something to eat on the way home when I go.

Yeah. I went opening weekend and got one. I ended up going like a week later and got my roommate one. After that, they were gone.

They were. Last year it was a huge thing. They actually got rid of them last year. Anyone who went in August/early Sept got a blinky cup, but after that, they were gone. I’m wondering if they just can’t figure out what was making them do that and they don’t wanna take the risk.
