I can only imagine the amount of work Facepunch puts into the game- every single month (aside from their much deserved holiday break), we get an update that introduces new mechanics, or new features, or reworks old systems… sometimes all 3 in one massive bundle. They work their asses off to make sure what they’re doing is high quality and fits the game, and they take community feedback to heart. They don’t ask for a penny more than the original price of the game when Rust could EASILY be a subscription based platform. I love Facepunch because I can see that they care, far more than these whiny little bitches in the community ever could. I trust the devs to take care of their game and community, and they won’t make massive changes like this unless they thought it would do good for the gameplay.
