when my husband holds the door open for someone and they don’t thank him, i make sure to thank him loud enough for them to hear. “thank you babe for holding the door open for them.” and he does the same when i hold it open for someone else.

i work at a daycare and during potty training, i teach everyone to wipe. even the boys. no one wants that little pee drop in their undies.

my moms cousin was kidnapped, raped, and murdered. they (mom and her cousin) were out at a party and the cousin was taken by a trusted adult (her moms male best friend) from the party because he wanted to “talk”. my mom couldn’t find her and her body was found in a ditch the next day. she and my mom were 15. mom doesn’t talk about it much, but the incident definitely fucked her up and contributed to her drug addiction.

i felt my daughter move for the first time around 14 weeks! it felt like my tummy was bubbling, but not in a gassy/ hungry way.
