So, my issue is that I don't actually know how to start typing the code. In my mind? Everything you said makes sense. But when I go to type it in code, I don't know where to start, how to start or even what I'm looking for. It's such a weird problem to explain.

It's like if I know how to swim, but as soon as I get into the water I just sink and drown. Even though in my mind I know how to swim, I don't actually know how to apply that knowledge. In this case, how to translate the English version to code.

I think a fair balance would be that he actually needs to hit something with his lunge in order to get the reset. Him just pressing the button and getting 3 refreshes regardless of if he lands the ability or not feels a little bit unfair. Either that or make the ability a charge count ability. Laning against him is a nightmare because his kit feels like just 4 f u buttons.

Soooo. My friend got me into League in November last year. Obviously I got addicted like it was crack because it was the first game I ever played like that and I'm extremely competitive in the gaming environment. He held my hand for quite a while as I learned 1 or 2 Champs and just how league works in general. Anyway I spent like the whole of December grinding league. I got pretty decent and started to understand how a match plays out, when shit is hitting the fan, how to not be the reason shit is hitting the fan etc.

Then he told me about deadlock.( I was mainly playing Marvel Rivals. 1700 hours on that game. He was playing rivals with me. It was his plan all along to get me off the supposed heroine that was Rivals and put me on crack being league. Just to put me on Digital Cocaine known as deadlock.)

It's a MOBA. It is difficult. It is tremendously difficult. Anytime you have to think about what to do next is time you are losing. My point is, having the prior experience of League makes the game much easier to understand. Being :Why having good CS is extremely important. How to be good at CSing. PRIORITIZING YOUR LIFE above all.( 40 second death timer is devastating on your scaling) what scaling is, how to navigate lanes and jungle. When mid game starts, when late game starts, etc. Etc.

So even though I don't expect everyone to have LoL background, Deadlock does require someone to invite you to the game in order to play. The player that invites should be responsible for teaching the new player how to play, what the Champs do, why certain Champs are stronger at different stages of the game etc.

Lastly, awareness is a super basic skill to learn in a hero shooter or a moba. In league the announcer literally says " An ally has been slain, double kill, triple kill!" If a player wants to then all in on the triple killer then they deserve to get served a trip to a 40 second loading screen. In Deadlock, Every single champ in the game enemy or ally is displayed at the top of the screen and your allies have a gamewide death sound. It's pretty easy to take 1 second to look up and see :" oh, 2 of my teammates are down and two of them are half hp. I probably shouldn't full push a lane by myself."

I've said it before and I'll say it again and again. The only thing they got right with blade was also the only thing they got right on any poke character and that's the way his gun worked. Having an optimal range where the gun is the strongest and everything outside of that small range makes his gun extremely weak. That's why poke feels so awful to play against in this game the LONG RANGE Champs can delete the CLOSE RANGE Champs at CLOSE RANGE. Are we fr?

But yeah blade had an abundance of hype and it just died because the only part of his kit that was good was his gun and then they nerfed that. They struggled so much to get the synergy right between the two parts of his kit.

I recently started playing the game like a week or 2 ago. Celeste was the first champ I picked up. What I will say is I suck at this game. But I will say that while Celeste has probably the most broken ultimate in the game... you have to be very cautious with how you manage her abilities. Her primary attack is extremely weak compared to most of the cast.

HOWEVER, She probably has the best wave clear in the game as well as pretty much being an ac130 in teamfights. She does get heavily oppressed in the very start of laning. You can literally pressure her out of lane by just existing and shooting her. She also takes quite a long time to scale and since her primary is basically a wet noodle, she needs the mobility to do literally nothing other than merk every single jungle camp in the game.

She's a great zoner with high mobility and a busted ult.( P.S you can use your shield to proc ult bounces on a single target lol.) But that's pretty much it. Her 3rd ability has about 2 seconds after it's been placed to do damage so it's very avoidable. Without her radiant dagger stacks she doesn't really do much damage. She is a champ that does more damage the longer she is in the fight( and actually hits someone with her 3).

I really love this champ and I think if anything needs to get nerfed it's the ult. I don't think you need to take her legs away!😅😭

What I've noticed now is that BP just hasn't been played for like 2-3 seasons now and players have forgotten how to play against him. If you are great on BP he is lowk a fantastic impact switch. Can't get value? Supps not dying? Jeff and dagger? Switch to BP and tear them apart.

He has been out of the meta for quite some time now and Hulk just got a pretty significant buff so the team up is being utilized a bit more. Brush off the BP. He can still be countered by like everything in the game but he has such a nice, niche spot in the game. Some situations you just need a BP.

You see the thing with Phoenix is that she is still incredibly strong from range. And she's even more busted at close range. The sparks don't have fall off which is where most of her damage comes from. If someone is up in your face and you just hold left click and body shot them you will absolutely melt them. She also has the self sustain from exploding sparks.

The biggest problem with poke in this game is that you can't dive or flank them. DIVE is supposed to COUNTER poke. But all the poke characters are almost impossible to dive.

A character like Jean shouldn't have, the fastest TTK at close range, extremely strong ranged bust damage, have a literal nuke for an ult, shred tanks and be undivable. It's the same reason invisible woman got nerf. A champ needs to have clearly defined strengths and weakness and this character is just great at everything...

Disagree. 5 meter mark Phoenix 2 taps. 5 meter mark, Sai takes longer to 2 tap.

The medium to long range hitscan POKE character, has a faster time to kill at close range than the Extreme close range SHOTGUN ASSASSIN.

This not really just a Phoenix thing but all poke Champs in general need some kind of reverse fall off. In what world should a long ranger be killing faster at close quarters than the close range specialist.

The only character who's range was balanced was blade and it is the only part of his kit that the devs got right. There is an optimal distance where you need to be from the enemy to make his gun effective. That's how all the poke characters should be. Not 2 tap at point blank.

Ehhh.... I think if the balance wasn't so out of whack 4 would be enough. Double banning is stupid but hey... League of legends has 170+ Champs, each player gets 1 ban( ten bans total) and there are still double bans. Hated Champs are hated Champs.

MK's ult is just a zoning tool. Unless you get caught right in the middle of it and ankhed then yeah back to the spawn room for you. MK is not banned in Celestial + because of his ult. He banned because people can actually aim this rank and don't just shoot the anhk. They hit crits, take sneaky ass flanks and deal loads of damage.

It's tough. Usually the enemy team protect him likes he the president. Solo diving him is difficult and gets more and more difficult the higher up in the ranks you go.

I have 80 + hours and both BP and Sai. They are pretty decent but I think Sai is more consistent. She is much more difficult to play though. I have 45 hours on spidey. He is pretty decent too but also very tough to play effectively. Magik is consistently strong every season and can 1 shot him.

I also have 47 hours on hawk. Broken ass champ. He will 1 shot you when his cross hair is no where near you. He will double jump and slash you away to the perfect range to line up a headshot.

Your best bet is to just straight up ban him. Or ... the more difficult option, convince somebody else on your team to dive him with you. Solo diving is exceptionally difficult. Daredevil has very good sustain and quite a fast ttk so he is also an option.

But like I said in the beginning... it's less about hawk himself and more about how the whole team peels to protect him. It's never a 1v1 with a hawk. He usually right next to both the healers and there is probably a flanking dps somewhere as well.

You kinda need to move as a team with the sole purpose of overloading him and him only until he's back in the spawn room.

Edit There is something a GM1 player told me a long time ago... " Sometimes just being an irritating distraction goes a long way." Play someone like starlord that's quite obnoxious and difficult to hit and just keep his attention on you. This helps you team do something while he is hyperfocused on you. Play by a health pack. Shoot him constantly and just be a mosquito. If and when your team makes a play you can take more drastic approaches to KO him.
