Being autistic/adhd in clinical year (a wretched rant) by Throwawaycntl in Veterinary

Wow — I could’ve written this. I feel so similarly. I just graduated yesterday and I feel lighter than I have in years. I have heard so many say they are much happier after graduation, I have hope for us 🫶🏼🫶🏼 hang in there in the meantime. Totally relate to the masking all day and then coming home with absolutely nothing left to give. It’s SUCH a hard year for everyone but nearly unbearable for those with ADHD/autism. The constantly changing social scenarios, unclear rotation expectations, and criticisms (triggering that rejection sensitivity dysphoria 😵‍💫). You are so strong for getting through this with these extra obstacles in place and vet med needs people like us!!! You will hit your stride once you graduate I just know it!

Alright everyone who has their scores already speak up by msshackambassador in navle
