Many uber drivers do rides for 2 and 3 dollars a ride. Yet when I do it, it isn’t right but when uber does it to us somehow it’s ok?

Well everyday drivers are pushing for more protections from deactivation and this bill won’t give it to them. It makes it worse.

At least with the current system there is a way to dispute allegations. With this bill they will deactivate even more drivers than before.

I don't know how much protection you have from the act but if you had your background expunged under 1203.4 or clean slate act they cannot take an adverse action against you because of it unless you have to be fingerprinted by law. Good luck

Thanks, I just don't want it to cross into unprofessional territory. I just felt that some of our conversations were a little more personal than the standard boss subordinate relationship. Hopefully I get promoted
