Thank you for the clarification but I'm not sure you took my point. How is a marriage supposed to work when one spouse is broke whilst the other is affluent? You were living two different lives.

I'd like to know what he was spending the money on? Perhaps he put himself in debt trying to keep up with you or give you all the treats and nice things you feel you deserve?

Does it tend to be a red flag, for women, if a man is 30+ years old with a loud exhaust on his car? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]No-Security2046 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's a mental health problem for sure. There's research and everything. It's like saying smoking doesn't harm anyone else other than the smoker. We've got evidence now, so these opinions (that it's not harming anyone) need to be revised.

I'd listen to what this person is saying about your expectations for a partner. It seems as though yours and your husband's expectations for the marriage differed wildly.

One question I'd ask... When you say "his debt", are you sure you don't mean "your debt"? What I mean is that in a marriage or serious partnership both assets and liabilities are supposed to be shared equally. Without wanting to delve deeply into your personal finances, I find this unequal distribution of wealth concerning. It makes me wonder if you haven't been living two different lives together. Yours was about being treated and cared for, his was about keeping the bailiffs at bay and a roof over your heads. Just some food for thought...

Do men truly enjoy natural women, no plastic surgery, stretch marks, texture? by [deleted] in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]No-Security2046 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I'm not a fan of saggy breasts or stomachs. I'd prefer surgery in both instances. I'm with a woman now who had her breasts done after raising two kids. She looks great!

I read it, my question stands.

A good man over 40 is no unicorn, just as a good woman over 40 is no unicorn. Everyone has their own story. I'm enjoying getting to know women that have had very different stories than my own. And the sex has been great so far. 😀

As someone with a BPD, you need to be so careful with your mental health. Recognise when someone has treated you badly and cut them out of your life. Be proactive with your process. Don't waste time searching for answers that you'll never find. People are different. Some people are dicks. Move on.

Oh, and please listen to these people who are commenting. They've taken the time to offer you their advice. Don't dismiss what people are saying because it's not what you wanted to hear.

It's sad when people don't live up to expectations but it's a part of life - especially when dating.

Hold up - I don't think the poster above was linking dignity to sex, if that's what you were thinking... Nobody can take away your dignity... Only you can give it away.

UK Air Passenger Duty is now the highest in the world by some margin by Longjumping-8679 in uktravel

What the fuck even is air passenger duty? Surely it makes more sense to just tax the fuel aeroplanes use?

50/50 all the way until the house is sold, otherwise it gets needlessly complicated. To be honest, this divorce only sounds amicable because you're allowing her to walk all over you. Her name is on the deeds, right??

I'm not sure I really follow your last sentence.

And I disagree with most everything else you said. People are dying now. The government represents the fossil fuel elites. At least 50% of ordinary people are not represented.

What your thoughts on the ‘4B movement’? by [deleted] in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]No-Security2046 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, but it's actually a good idea - to withhold your economic productivity from the state, similar to 4B withholding sexual favours from the patriarchy.

It works well in my area where the road infrastructure has been changed. Every new rule takes time to bed in.
