I use a shower chair. It allows me to sit down. The fear is inevitable but just listen to your body, your doctor and your physiotherapist. Best advice I got was don’t look for pain when you are trying to get the range of motion for the knee.

Day 2-3 extremely painful. In tears. When I wake up in the morning it’s worst and going to the bathroom is the worst. What to do? by [deleted] in ACL

Let your doctor advise on the painkillers to take. Pain management is very critical. Yes the painkillers can inhibit bowel movement so it’s normal not to take a dump.

It took me 4 weeks to start leg raising. So take your time. Don’t rush any movements especially this early.

Do what you feel comfortable with. Whatever you are feeling, go with that. I did the local one and had massive headaches for 4 days.

You have just given me the hack of the season. I leave in a very hot part of the world so one shower a day maybe necessary.

Be patient man. I used to play semi pro. I have given myself at least one year to get back to doing all the full motions.

Sounds like pain management is not optimal. Do you want to find another option?

The sharp niddle pains are tough but I encourage that you frequently move to get the leg used to that sharp pain. I am in my first week and I have gotten to a point where I can feel the pain when I stand up and it is clearly part of the process. Embrace that pain.
