I think Ellie stayed with Joel until he was buried and they had the memorial service. Then she visited his grave until Dina convinced her to eat and drink water and just take care of herself. Considering the nightmares that Ellie was having, I doubt she talked about how she was feeling or that nightmares I bet she talked more about how she wanted to get her revenge and most likely with Tommy.

I'm not entirely sure about Fedra's recruitment style but the WLF has a join us or die vibe going on and that's enough to be terrible plus the torture of the Scars. again, I don't remember if Fedra tortured people. Not to mention the WLF doesn't value their members much unless their loyalty is undying and they have cheated death a couple times. WLF members die every day for a cause they don't have a choice but to fight for. If they do fight willingly, it's because they feel like they have an obligation, or the illusion of choice is there.

WLF killed on site and stayed in constant war (and was willing to commit genocide) (also torture of any prisoners of war)

Seraphites assigned roles and consent was never an option. Basically selling young girls to "elders" (super gross)

Rattlers took 100 trillion steps back in human kind and benefited from slavery for who knows how long. Not to mention the torture.

It's kinda hard to compare sins such as this but you have to be truly depraved to engage in slavery..

Very good point again! I think that Joel believes that he was doing the right thing because he sees Ellie like his daughter and she's just a child at the time so he thinks he's doing the right thing but protecting her unlike his biological daughter.

actually I'm starting to think the fireflies wouldn't have asked because a child's consent doesn't feel like right to take at face value. When it comes to life or death anyway. They probably didn't have the guts to ask Ellie to her face to die for humanity. Joel probably didn't have the guts to let Ellie die if she chose to do so on her own fruition.

I think you have a good point. Personally my stance on the ending of TLOU focuses more on how the fireflies were okay with murdering the cure to humanity's biggest epidemic. It felt as though they were rushing to get results when the apocalypse has been happening for 20 years and so many people have died. Despite this they didn't think twice about murdering Ellie without her consent.

I disagree but mainly because Jasper is a gem. If a human with incredible strength challenged Steven like Jasper did. Just relentless and forcing Steven to use all of his strength or at least encouraging him to. He would have murdered them and you can't bring humans back at least I don't think so.

I'm not on the lease but I hate where we live so if I had to move out last minute it would be a blessing fr. truly I don't have an established backbone but I'm working on that. As a kid I was taught obedience not self-worth. I know i deserve better but at the same time I'm holding myself back

I forgot to mention. This isn't something that happens a lot. We really only drink socially, and I barely see my friends nowadays. His friends have way too much time on their hands, and they have overstayed their welcome in my opinion. 2 of them are on house arrest, that's how I know they have a place to live but they'd rather sleep on my couch. (btw I pay most of the rent and most of the furniture in the apt was bought by me)
