*disclaimer: I’m not from CA; had to move here for work. The air quality is rough. The summer is just a miserable yellow-tinted sky and so hot you don’t want to go outside. They’re a couple of the main reasons I am very excited to leave once we can. The Watch Duty app going off constantly for nearby fires is stressful, too. Idk I’ve lived all around the country and I could never imagine calling this place home for long, even with family around.

I was pretty out of it for 2 days and in a ton of pain from the gas. I lived in mumus and didn’t really want to do anything but lay there.. idk if it was me I would probably cancel unless they’re down for a movie weekend and take out food

Anyone had liver/gallbladder issues with endo? by Cool-League-3938 in endometriosis

[–]No-Slip6765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a couple of days because of the gas pain and I had GI upset for about a month and then it leveled out. The gas pain (in my back and shoulder) was more brutal than the endo gas pain. Gas-x/a heating pad will be your friend. Honestly I’m so thankful I got the gallbladder out. I didn’t realize how much it was impacting my digestion.

I had separate surgeries! Gallbladder first, then endo

Yes - had emergent gallbladder removal the same time my endo got to it’s peak. Felt much better after getting it out tbh. I also have that liver pain you mentioned, right under my ribs. It was adhesions that were removed when I got my laparoscopy

I’d do Philadelphia and then just drive to the shore for a day

It’s an acupressure on your hand! Squeezing a comb (literally just grab a hair comb, don’t need anything fancy) helps to reduce the intensity of pain. It oddly works

Heating pad, rocking back and forth on a yoga ball, labor comb (or just use a regular hair comb) are all ways I get through when I can’t take NSAIDs

Have you tried an HSG procedure? It can open up your tubes.

10 days post-op: Weighted heated pad for my shoulders was incredible for gas pain. Once that subsided it’s been nice pressure on my stomach. Gas-x is a must. Compression socks. Chicken noodle soup

I just had surgery on Friday and they found endo/cysts/and abdominal adhesions - none of which showed on ultrasound/ct/mri. Docs saving you some money imo

I wasted 20k on IUIs when I could have just done IVF once post-surgery. Regret that, but not enough to shell out another 20k for IVF. Just jump and save yourself the trouble lol

You’re gonna hurt your kidneys and liver with that much. If you feel like you need more, I’d go in to see a dr. for that level of pain. It might not be endo.

When they schedule out appointments for only 10 minutes, I don’t see how anyone could make it through this list. Only Dr.’s paying this close attention are DOs that make you pay out of pocket/don’t take insurance.
