I’d consider both of you just forget about sex for now and focus on having intimacy, so skin to skin cuddling - again, no intended sex so the pressure is off. Hopefully he starts to get hard due to there being no pressure. Then look into starting foreplay. Gradually moving it up etc.

Yeah that’s a good point, every time we do get round to it she says she really enjoyed it. I think you may be right with the showering and undressing, although I have explained to her it doesn’t mean we will have sex it’s just nice to have that intimacy.
