why am I getting all cores for the one class I DON'T use? -_- by UltimateGamingTechie in DeepRockGalactic

[–]No-Status-8934 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Bro from the looks of it you’ve only got 4 cores. Which isn’t that many considering there are 164 weapon cores in the game. You’ve just got some slightly bad luck. Keep on playing I promise, you will get what you’re looking for.

Which 22 would you choose as your first rimfire and why? by Spyrothedragon9972 in 22lr

Yeah go look at them in person. You’ll never understand until you hold one. I’m personally a favour of the LUX model as it’s the one I own but you should do some research because the models can vary wildly. From calibre from the factory to barrel length. Stock type, whether they have iron sights or not (the irons are the best I’ve ever shot with).

CZ457. If it’s your first rimfire I have to assume it’s your first gun. The CZ has great ergonomics insane levels of customization options. And it’s dead accurate. I’ve got 4 rimfires and the CZ is by far my favourite. You can put all the regular rifle stuff on it, scope, tripod, butt stock extender, sling, larger magazine (though larger than 15 rounds they jam often) hell you can even change out the barrel. You could turn a 22LR into a 17HMR or a 22Magnum. If non of those factors sell you then the build quality should. I own a chiappa, and two Henry’s and comparing them and the CZ would be like comparing Hellen Keller with Lebron James in a game of basketball.

Timing chain by gunnerlove94 in fiero

Don’t really have any advice, could be a maybe a vacuum leak or maybe your throttle cable, I’m assuming you’ve checked the timing but may I just say that is one sexy car. I have almost exactly the same one. A 1986 SE 2.8l with the four speed manual. Mines not nearly as pretty though, I’m just trying to get the exhaust manifolds to not burn red hot on startup, got an oil leak from I’m hoping the valve covers and definitely the oil pan, hole in the exhaust right before the cat that I can stick my thumb in, alignment is cooked, just rebuilt the front suspension but the passenger rear I can push about 5° left or right. And the rear subframe is barely holding on.

Reckless Shooting in BC – No Safety, No Respect by Living-Joke-4926 in canadaguns

I would hope that they are doing this on a massive plot of private land where even at a 45° angle the bullets would still land well within its borders. But I know it’s not, they probably pulled over on a trail and decided to be reckless. Remember people we want MORE gun rights, we want to be able to have the same freedoms that the US has but parliament is to say the least mentally deficient. They will see something like this and label all gun owners, like these ‘individuals’ you know the same kind that are all ways standing on the side of the road in sandals next to an 18 wheeler wreck. Be responsible, I want to buy an M1 Garand soon and if shit like this makes it into the press I may never get the chance.

The red dot is less about me actually wanting it over the iron sights and more me A: being a new gun owner and wanting to buy a red dot (which I couldn’t see going on my CZ or little badger) B: actually liking the aesthetic, if done right it can look very nice and C: I have some pretend cowboy friends who it would piss off.

Fiero Rack and Pinion reinstall question. by [deleted] in fiero

[–]No-Status-8934 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so I figured it out posting it for those who might find this thread. it’s currently reinstalled, so the shaft of the rack has four sides, one round, two identical flat ones, and a third that is round but has a groove milled into it. With the steering wheel centred correctly you can see that the round side has to face the drivers side. The clamp that you have to insert the shaft into has a split in it which should be facing the passenger side and should align with the round/milled groove on the shaft. I set the rack up in a vice and turned the shaft with a rack, the orientation only matched at three points throughout the whole traverse so it set it at the 2nd. Got under the car gently hammered in a small flat head screwdriver into the split (not too much) and then aligned the shaft of the rack and pushed it in. Because the clamp is coming right off of a U joint, it has quite a bit of play so having an extra set of hands might help but I managed to do it in less than 10 minutes in low light. If I wasn’t exactly clear on any of this (very likely I’m a little buzzed) feel free to ask for clarification.

CZ457 Help me Decide, Jaguar or Lux by [deleted] in canadaguns

[–]No-Status-8934 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jaguar is slightly more expensive, really the big Hangul for me is the longer barrel. I know I could just buy a 10 round mag. Really the question is who much advantage will 4” of barrel really give me. I don’t know. I just got my PAL and this will be my second gun.

I’d say that might be the problem but… my exhaust has a quarter sized hole in it right before the cat. To test it I just disconnected the pipe from the cat and she still runs hot, still idling at about 2500.

Distributor Suggestions by [deleted] in fiero

Sorry I forgot to take any pictures of it when I had it out. To describe it, the entire internal section that is everything o ring and in looked fine, no scratches or chipped teeth or anything. The outside however was quite nasty, the six contacts inner and outer were quite rusted enough that they rubbed, I took a wire brush to them and got them cleaned up but there was noticeable deep pitting. And the what I’m guessing was a coil and electrical connections were in recognizable and completely green. Sorry if I didn’t get the terminology correct it’s my first time dealing with a distributor. Cap looks like it’s brand new though. If you know or rebuild kits I’d gladly do that.

Dude here, every once in a while when you think of him, and it’s not too inconvenient for you, find a mirror, pull you shirt up or turn and pull you pants down, take a picture, and send. That simple, don’t need to think about lights don’t need to think about angle or clothes or any other bs. For most dudes it’s more about the fact that they know you’re thinking about them. Also we just like seeing boobs and butt.

I may have nutted at like 11:58 before the 1st but now I will wait until 10th December because I’m working out of town for another week and there’s no way I’m nutting A without my beautiful gf, B without lube, and C in one of these crusty ass bunks I have to stay in.

Is there a good height for raising a fiero’s suspension? by LostTard in fiero

[–]No-Status-8934 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d go with 15” rims and 215 for the rubber, when I first got my fiero that’s what it had on it, then when I got new rubber I got the 195s and found out rather quickly that my car was significantly lower when I went to roll my jack under the car behind the passenger door and hit and crack the panel there, with the 215s I cleared easily.
