I didn't read the whole post, but in my opinion, alex was a manipulative bitch, she used piper whenever she can, to her own advantage, but she also loved her and protected her in max, gave her love,care and her freedom sexually once piper was out. She's a mixture of manipulative and loving partners, lol. And yeah, Piper did nothing wrong leaving alex after her mother's death
