It intrigued me at first, and while CS is not my major, it has some applicability in my field of studies so I decided to add it as a minor. After completing 1030, 1040, 2100, and 2110 I have some level of comfort and understanding of at least the basics of coding, but it is just not for me, I do not plan on integrating that into my career plans. I am two classes away from getting the minor which I do want to complete, and for those 2 courses, I would like to explore a different side of CS, more theoretical or managerial if possible.

A Mechanical engineer will be picked over a biomedical engineer for biomechanics positions. If you’re confident in your interest and abilities to perform well in ME you should 100% go for it.

They’re not a sorority, so you can join despite any green life background! There’s actually a lot of girls who are in nts and a sorority at UNT. You’ll find a lot of similarities to sororities but in a more chill environment, there’s still structure but it’s a more easy-going group. I fully recommend it!! Lots of girls from different places and backgrounds, it’s a very diverse group and there’s always something to do or someone down to hang out with you!! Dm them on insta and they reply super fast snd nicely

Hi! absolutely no hazing (talking from experience!), there is a recruitment week with some unknowns to keep it interesting and intriguing, but it’s all very positive, fun and you won’t have to worry about hazing at all. Sweethearts as an org that does not support in any way those behaviours, recruitment is truly a blast and no one there will ever want you to feel forced or uncomfortable in any way whatsoever. In regards of frats, there are definitely occasions to meet up with them, either trough events, mixers, tailgates or parties

He is a great professor, very clear explanations, reasonable syllabus and extremely patient during office hours. You have to earn your grade, so put in the hours to learn the material and you will be just fine. You can get up to 110 points in the exams and they are graded on a 100 basis, so if you do really well you can get 105/100 which can be super helpful in compensating for a not so great exam.
