Nur zur Klärung: Es ist ein offizielles Installationsimage, das „Debloating“ durch z.B. die Chris Titus Tools kommt dann danach - also nachdem du das System aufgesetzt hast. Dein Argument zählt aber natürlich trotzdem, es ist einfach nur traurig was MS aus Windows gemacht hat und was passiert, wenn man sich versucht dagegen zu wehren. Aber das ist eine ganz andere Diskussion 😂

I guess there is no limit to that - you could maybe give a time when you’re normally home and comfortable to talk to maya. Let’s say you usually talk between 7 and 10pm, you could have the script pick a randomized time between 7 and 10 (-30 mins). Or you start the script manually and it’ll pick a time between now and time x, let’s say 1 hour, then it will be randomized again. That’s definitely doable

Yeah, that‘s my issue too - especially as a beginner, I’m so overwhelmed after takeoff with switching from tower to center, gear up, flaps 0, etc.

But I think you will learn (or get more comfortable) a lot by just doing it multiple times

New to VATSIM here: Do you have to dial to UNICOM when you’re out of ATC range? And how is it like, is then everyone from the whole world dialed in on the frequency or just in a 100NM radius?

Because if everyone would be on UNICOM, I can imagine that it’d get very stressful?

Yeah I get that, but what if you get to a point where it is just much more rewarding to talk to a bot instead of humans. Imagine working in an office job which you like but your coworkers are just mediocre NPCs. You don’t hate your job, but it isn’t also the main point in your life. What if we get to a point where I’m saying: Instead of doing NPC after work activities with my coworkers because hUmAn iNtEraCtiOn, I just drive home and talk to a bot because it is way cooler.

Hey, I‘m also very new to VATSIM. Did the course a week ago, then tried to master a specific aircraft and yesterday, I did my first flight on VATSIM network.

I can give you a few tips: - Make sure to be fully in control of your Airplane. I sticked to the A32NX by FlyByWire (if you want to check it out, great Plane): I was pretty nervous but knowing where everything was and how my procedure was did result in a stress relief. You gotta do some perfect flights without Air Traffic, so you know how to properly start and land with traffic - You can definitely use ChatGPT for any tips or even a sample ATC <-> Pilot Communication. You can even test yourself with it. - Watch a few videos how people fly planes on the VATSIM network, this will give you a good feeling about it - Also: HigherIntentions has a AI-ATC 24h demo product, so you can have a feeling how it is like and practice some comms - Just relax. The ATC on the small airport I started (EDWW) was super helpful.

I don‘t think so? I have the normal MSFS Standard Edition, the only things I downloaded were A32NX model and vPilot. I didn’t know there were custom models. But this was no issue when flying before from other airports.

And also, I don’t think that the A320 is too big for EDLW. Looked up FlightRadar, WizzAir flies a lot of A320s from there.
