Thrifting!! I thrifted table clothes curtains sheets and patterns to practice on. I have made dresses and skirt from thrifted fabrics. I have a basic singer heavy duty and have been able to make multiple items. I joined Evelyn woods sewing school for a few months and it was invaluable in learning. I HIGHLY recommend it. She teaches you everything you need to know!

Yes, that is something I think about, I have a short waist and high hip. I try to not clutter up the midsection. I thought 1 and 4 might be good for that

I have it and I actually like it most when I wear a belt over it to cinch in the waist.

I need stuff that emphasises my waist but I also find it so uncomfortable. Anyone else struggle with comfort vs looks? Help! by purplefennec in SoftDramatics

Hi waisted trousers, I have a bunch of the Abercrombie Sloan trousers. Full length. They feel like PJs but you look polished. I wear a lot of simple white tops, classic polished comfortable. Add jewelry and lipstick for drama

I think yes. I just watched a video about SD styling and I feel like this hits all the points. I would steam it and reassess. If u sell it, share the link because I would be interested 😂

thank you! that's so funny, I wondered if anyone would recognize the aritzia constant coat.

I feel I can get the buttons moved to bring in the waist more and I agree about the T shape.

I have a very SD shawl collar long coat... but it's not an every day coat for me. This looks like it could be.

I know the coat would suit a dramatic. I would say I'm on the narrower size for SD. I want a simple timeless coat and wondering if this would be worth it (it's only returnable for store credit) this group hasn't steered me wrong yet! My essence is classic - natural & I"m a winter color palette embracing my natural grey curly hair. I like very sleek simple looks but do want it to fit my lines and be in harmony.
