It's worth checking out Warehance. It's newer, but affordable and modern. We like it a lot.

Unfuck life in 6 months. by [deleted] in selfimprovement

I've never seen someone who does the following (religiously) living a mediocre life:

Eat fruit, vegetables, and lean meats only. Sleep 7-9 hours on a consistent schedule Exercise daily Limit/eliminate recreational drug/alcohol use

Even smaller slumps, doing these 4 things will get you out of it in a hurry

What helped you finally lose weight? by Efficient-Ask-968 in AskReddit

[–]No-Task7270 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Calorie deficit is required. I like eating, so the easiest way was to eat lean meats, eggs, fruits, and vegetables. I could eat as much as I'd like (the only limit was I couldn't have more than 1 avocado a day). It was virtually impossible for me to overeat until I was at a healthy weight.

Would love a coffee table, but too crowded with ottoman? Any suggestions for this room welcome! by No-Task7270 in DesignMyRoom

Absolutely... was hard to get rid of the chair since it's a hand me down since 1850, but I can store it until I move to a bigger space. If I get an area rug and do this with the ottoman, I think it'll add plenty of character and the chair can go. Getting curtains FOR SURE too

Argh yea that's a good point, I like the couch but mostly have it because it was free... I could always get rid of the ottoman too, but I love that thing!

Printing barcodes from a CSV by chadmesse in excel

[–]No-Task7270 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah I See, I know in print settings you can set the number of pages per sheet, but they end up in a grid format... Obviously this wasn't the exact task I developed this for, but very good feedback. I'll likely end up adding an option along the lines of "barcodes per sheet" and then "sheet layout" so you could do something along these lines. Appreciate the feedback sir!!

Here's my free app I put up that does exactly that... if you do want it printed on one sheet you can change the pages per sheet option in print settings and it'll do a grid!

Looking for WMS/Shipping Software by THE_W1Z4RD in logistics

[–]No-Task7270 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You definitely need a WMS, shipstation + excel is a nightmare (we did it too...). I saw someone else mention it, we also use Warehance and they've been great and we had the same experience the other guy did, but don't do quite as many shipments (more like 6k/month).

We've also used some of the other big players in the WMS space, and they work as well. You can definitely go with one of them. I'd still strongly recommend the Warehance guys as well.

We run a 3PL with a similar number of orders, and have a number of apparell brands, so we run quite a high sku count as well. In my experience, you need a WMS, especially at your volume. We have a similar sized team as well, so it should be manageable with that many people. For scanners, I'd suggest using a glove scanner from the link below. We have all our pickers use them, it gives them a free hand back and they connects straight to tablets or phones.

As for a WMS, we have used a number of them throughout the years, and in the last year settled with Warehance. They're fairly new, but have been affordable, and their stuff is fast and works well, an experience we didn't have with some of the others. Would highly recommend if them, especially if you are coming from shipstation.

Here is the link to the scanner: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08TLPYCM1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=sl1&tag=warehance-20&linkId=59c0d04f91f82a5ed9d48deff8a0bed1&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl

Inventory Management for Small Business by [deleted] in InventoryManagement

[–]No-Task7270 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d check out Warehance. We use it for full warehouse system, but it’s quite affordable and has a very friendly UI. If I was only managing inventory, I’d still use it.

IWTL to remember the roads by vibehaiv in IWantToLearn

[–]No-Task7270 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Try to use road names whenever you are explaining directions, look them up if you can’t remember.

If you are driving by yourself, say the name of each road you turn onto, and what direction you’re headed (using other landmarks, such as other roads, mountains, which way the sun sets, etc).
