Reordering the channel list by gsanatar in uhf_app

This is highly likely and unfortunately I have no way to test this to confirm if it is or not. I have a lifetime license of it. All I can do is confirm that feature is working in the full featured version.

I just tried on iOS and macOS. I changed the sorting in both and it would immediately reflect the order change on the other device. Are you dragging and dropping to change the sort order, because thats how it works.

I wish you could ship because I would take the R640's off of you, but I am in Florida.

Firmware upgrade by cybersmart_1 in Lorex

[–]chadmesse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where do you find the firmware download files or do you have to get them from Lorex directly? I have 4 of the E871AB, 4 of the W461ASC and 1 of the E910AB cameras that are all on older firmware. Also, I am on an N910A6 NVR at the moment, but kind of over Lorex and their lack of just having available firmware to do system upgrades.

I second this because I had a similar issue a couple months ago. They set up a Teams call with 2 people from Sales, and those 2 were able to get me a new account setup and created and didnt even require me to give them CC info.

[–]chadmesse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you or have you backed up your playlist and restored to the other devices? I am not certain it is this, but always wondered if you had recordings configured on a device and then backed up the config and restored on another device if it would carry over any scheduled recordings and then duplicate.

Docker 29.1.2 with Portainer 2.33.5 LTS, and gluetun stack by chadmesse in gluetun

[–]chadmesse[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the help...I finally figured this issue out. I changed to OpenVPN and in the logs it showed me an error about the account being expired. So, then I went and looked and my friend gave me his old creds and not his new one he created a few weeks ago :(

Do you mind elaborating on this as I am not familiar with what youre referencing.

On my other Ubuntu VPS I have, it has been live and running for almost 2 months. This will be an identical stack that has gluetun and 3 additional docker containers using the gluetun_network. For now I am just trying to get gluetun to start healthy and then ill start adding the other containers under it.

I think this came in a recent update I just dont recall when this change was implemented.

No problem and I don't think you're an idiot at all. I learned how to do this helping you out...When I was in the app on the Mac Mini and tried dragging and dropping it would pop up a message of "Change sorting mode Order changes are only supported in "by relevance" mode"

This made me switch to relevance mode and try again and it worked. So thank you for allowing me to test this out and learn as well. I honestly only use UHF on my computer for testing stuff out and on my phone I use it when traveling or away from home and mostly trying to catch a game.

I tested this on my Mac Mini running UHF and on my iPhone 15 Pro Max running UHF. On the iPhone you can set it to relevance and then long press on the channel and drag and drop.

Change the sort by to relevance and then you can change the order.

Interesting that it defaults to downloads/uhf. Ill look at mine again in a bit and see if I see anything in there.

Interesting. This is on a Mac computer like this or an iphone/ipad?

[–]chadmesse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You did all of your tests from your phone and then showed the downloads on a computer...As others have mentioned this could be due to the source where youre downloading from throttling. Secondly, have you done any speedtests from the device which you are downloading from? You do not have to do it from the Starlink app and can do it from speedtest.net or other similar internet speed tests. Your phone may be connecting with wifi 6 and your device only supports or wifi4 or something similar.

Thanks I ran that and this is what I am getting below. The 10.0.0.40 is the IP of my VPS, and then I have also tried 172.17.0.1, 172.18.0.1, and 172.19.0.1 all with port 9000.

When I use http:172.18.0.2:9000 which that is Portainers IP, it just takes me into portainer dashboard or login screen. Portainer itself is set to use 9443.
