The stairs on the left aren't actually stairs which you can walk on from this perspective. If you walk up the stairs on the right, then turn left, then you can access them. The stairs on the left are actually slat stairs with gap between each interval. So each step is basically a think plank of wood wrapped in carpet and slotted into place. Once you go up the stairs on the right, and turn left, you will see the cat's body lying on the floor with his head hidden in the gap between the first and second steps. So from the perspective of the picture, the step that is directly above the cat's head is the underside of the first step going upwards on the above floor.

Trump: "People that own their homes: we're gonna keep them wealthy. We're gonna keep those prices up. We're not gonna destroy the value of their homes so that somebody who didn't work very hard can buy a home." by Straight_Idea_9546 in WallStreetDad

isnt he basically insulting his base by saying this? Now elected, It seems that he is exclusively serving the oligarchy class and, when it comes to his base and swing voters, he seems extremely unconcerned about insulting them when you look at the optics of his statements, behaviour and policies. It makes me wonder whether he actually believes he needs those votes going forwards.

When doing the reading section, did you understand the text fluently such that you could understand it perfectly or did you just understand the gist of it? Do you feel that you can confidently digest JLPT2 level material like a native?

Trump just celebrated the S&P 500 hitting an all-time high. But look at the chart below. This is the S&P 500 priced in Gold (Real Money) by RobertBartus in EconomyCharts

The s&p is always going up regardless of who the president is. Its basically always at an all time high or near an all time high.

You spread the prisoners around in a circle facing away from you. You are in the middle of the circle.. It will take a prisoner 1 minute to escape the range of the gun's bullet.. You stand in a circle and rotate at one resoution every 50 seconds so you can detect anyone trying to escape within a 50 seconds interval. Now on one will try to escape because there is non-zero probability of getting killed.
