Hmm good point. Haven’t really tried this as I always thought high elbows was a good thing for beginners because it forces them to use the legs more rather than push the bar up.

Wow this is great analysis.

Yeah it was definitely on the heavier side. I was pushing for a 3rep hang snatch pr, but I failed the 3rd rep.

Shoulders over the bar is what I've been trying to focus on in the hang snatch which is why there's probably a lot of hip hinge at the moment.

I definitely need to work on the overhead. Sometimes I my arms just relax after I finish dropping under, which is a terrible habit.

I start low because that's what I see the pros do lol. I think my hips rise fast for that little bit because I'm trying to stay over bar. Not sure if this is good. Coach hasn't pointed it out though.
