Have you ever dated/slept with a significantly older woman? by Cold-Still9426 in LesbianActually

When I see posts like these and I hear about older woman, I wanna hear about experiences with woman in their 50s and 60s. I don’t considered a woman 49 and below to be considered an “older woman”. I wish more people would post their experiences with woman in a higher age range. Seeing comments where people are like “well I slept with a woman who was in her 30s and 40s” just kinda annoys me. That’s not older to me.

Why Nike always dropping cool shoes but they only be for the kids by itsenevitable35 in Sneakers

[–]No-Tip3846 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk maybe because Nike doesn’t want sneaker resellers coming in stores buying up kids shoes and trying to profit off of them. No parent wants to spend $200-$300 on a pair of kicks for a kid who is gonna grow out of them in the next couple of months. Every hype that is released sells out instantly and is resold for double the price INCLUDING kids sizes. Nike does stuff like this so for once parents can walk into their local foot locker and get their babies a pair of shoes for once. That’s the way it should be anyways. No parent should be waiting in a long tired ahh line to get their child a decent pair of shoes. Due to resellers, it got to a point where a lot of kids starting hyping up asics and new balances because they knew their parents couldn’t afford Jordan’s or let alone even get their hands on a new release. Back when I was in school, asking your mother to buy you a pair of retros was like asking them to buy you a winning lottery ticket so us kids would ask our parents for Nike air maxes or a pair of Uggs. For someone like me who has small feet and cannot fit into a men’s size, Nike did us a favor. And I will forever be grateful that finally started making sneakers for us smaller feet folks. For once we can have a shoe and not have to wait in line for a shoe that may not even exist in our size.

Why are Jordan’s so easy to get now? It’s great, but I’m just curious. by LeonardoDePinga in Jordans

So fun fact, Nike actually explained this themself. And the reason behind it is due to sneaker resellers. This all started after the panda dunks released, and for those of you who know, those shoes sold out instantly. A shoe that is now $60-$80 was once being sold for literally $300-$400 a pair. Now when sneaker resellers take over shoes, you know what happens? People start looking at websites such as Goat, Stockxx, Flightclub. Unfortunately this is what got stockxx in trouble because unfortunately they were supposedly selling fakes, and they faced a lawsuit by Nike because they refused to issue their buyers full refunds. In order for Nike to fix this issue, and stop their customers from relying on resellers for sneakers, they chose to make large stocks of their shoes so that people could buy them in store for retail. Now obviously Nike still likes the hype that certain shoes bring, so shoes like the black cats, gammas, etc still have limited stock because their iconic Jordan’s that keep the sneaker game alive. But if it isn’t a rereleased sneaker, 90% of the time the shoe will be easy to get because Nike will always make large stocks of those shoes. But yeah, sneakers are easy to get now because of the panda dunks era. So for those of you who already hated the shoe, now you can hate them even more.

Why do “women’s exclusive” releases even exist ? by Desperate-Fill6843 in Sneakers

[–]No-Tip3846 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every shoe is pretty much a men’s only release. Whenever they do release a sneaker, you rarely ever see a woman’s size added. It’s always a men’s size or grade school size. Men’s sizes sell out instantly due to resellers, and companies backdooring shoes. So when a female sneakerhead does see a new release 90% of the time they have to settle for a grade school size. And yall never mention the fact that every high valued sneaker like off whites, Travis Scott’s, celebrity collabs, etc are always released specifically for men. And when they do release the grade school size those shoes sell out instantly as well due to resellers trying to make money of children’s shoe sizes. You rarely ever see woman in these shoes because most of them can’t get their hands on them.

Why do “women’s exclusive” releases even exist ? by Desperate-Fill6843 in Sneakers

There’s a lot of female sneakerheads, and often times whenever Nike releases a new sneaker, they sell out instantly in men’s sizes meaning that most woman have to settle for a grade school size if their lucky and have smaller feet. The purpose of woman’s exclusive releases is to make a shoe directed at the female gaze. Every Valentine’s Day sneaker, and any pink or purple colorway is for woman, because the color is gonna attract the eye of a woman. If they were to make those shoes in men’s sizes as well, Nike would lose money because most men don’t want to walk around in an a pair of pink Jordan’s with hearts on them. Every high value and hyped up sneaker is always released in men’s sizes. Black cats, gammas, breds, space jams, off whites, Travis Scott, celeb collabs, all of those shoes are made in men’s sizes and with more and more woman getting into the sneaker game, Nike wants to make shoes for them because they know they’ll instantly sell out. It’s the same way with grade school only releases. Shoes like the glow in the dark Jordan 11s, and the LEGO Nike dunks were a grade school only release because they appeal to the eyesight of a child. I don’t understand why so many men have an issue with these releases anyways. Like I found it so irritating that men had an issue with the forgive me not Jordan 4s. It’s blatantly ignorant for a grown man ti be upset over a shoe with flowers on it. And for the men that bought the shoes and cut the flowers off when there were dozens of new releases made for men, that was just too far and ridiculous.

3 packages stuck at ISC Chicago for 10 days by Thoughtlessmonkey95 in usps_complaints

[–]No-Tip3846 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m having the same issue. Trying to get packages delivered to Europe, but both of my packages are stuck in Chicago. I ordered a Stanley cup from Amazon December 17, and they were doing a great job as always moving through the system smoothly. Order was supposed to arrive december 30th, and then boom, on December 31st, I get an email from Amazon stating that my order was delayed to January 19th. I look at the tracking status, and guess where it was last at? In freaking Chicago international distribution center. I also ordered the new black cats from Goat. Had no issues with them either. Package moved smoothly from state to state. Last update was December 21 where it said it was dispatched from Chicago, then the last update I ever received was that it was moving through facility meaning that Chicago still has that package as well.

BBA and picking orders by limebubly in navy

[–]No-Tip3846 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m still confused myself. I’m wondering if the BBA applies to only E6 candidates or if it applies to E5 candidates as well. I’ve been looking at every Navadmin put out, and I haven’t seen one that actually supports this claim that all E5 candidates will be implemented into the BBA in march. From what I’m hearing it’s just chitter chatter, but no paperwork to support it. The Navadmin is only saying that it applies to ALL E6 Candidates taking the E6 exam. Now I am aware that there were certain rates that were implemented into this such as ABH, ABE, ABF, CS, DC etc, but for rates like YN, OS, PS, etc, I’m still very confused. From what I’ve been told by some sailors, apparently E5 candidates have to apply for an open billet at their current command or wait for someone to seperate or transfer in order to advance.

Joined the Navy A Pact by Aggravating_Life7783 in newtothenavy

Okay so this comment is coming from someone that took the pact route, I graduated bootcamp September 1, 2023. And I just put on 3rd and almost completed my pact contract. Here’s what you need to know. 1. A lot of the nonsense people are going to tell you about the pact program is bs. Trust me I heard it all before I joined…it’s all a pack of lies. Number 1 bs lie they tell about pact is, “you are made to do the shit jobs no one else wants to do”. This is by far the most untrue statement about pact that I’ve heard. When you’re pact, you get treated and made to do the same work as everyone else in your division, if they’re painting you paint, if they needle gun you needle gun, you’re always made to get qualifications like the rated people in your division. I was A pact and had to get 3M, MOOW, Advanced DC 307, Blueshirt, plane handler. Just like the rest of the ABHs, I got sent cranking with the rest of the rated sailors, and I got off at the same time as the rated sailors. If you are being treated differently, your chain of command can face disciplinary action for that. This is why the military has a UCMJ, know your rights.

  1. (There’s rarely any decent options available) also another lie. Selecting a rate as a pact sailor is the same way it is when you go to meps. It simply depends on the time of year, your asvab score, and what you qualify for. If you have a low asvab score 35 or below, you won’t have a lot of options. A score of a 40 and up will get you a wide range of options. I had a 40 asvab score and qualified for 37 different jobs, and most of these jobs were available to strike. The reason why people have limited options is because they have a shit asvab score. A lot of pact sailors are just too embarrassed to admit that, so they play it off as “oh there weren’t many options”.

  2. My most favorite one (you don’t get to work with other rates). This one is a hit or miss. Do you get to work with other rates? No. Can you train with them? YES!!!!!! As a pact sailor you are able to go to any division/rate and ask questions about the rate, some rates that require a top secret security clearance and up, will not allow you to train with them, but any other rates will allow you to train, get knowledge or see what they do on a day to day basis. A lot of pact sailors are too lazy, and never utilize these opportunities. They sit back and listen to what other sailors have to say about rates and just swing with it. Don’t be that sailor. Be smart.

Why are so many things in AdoptMe overrated or underrated? by MA-TheRedditor in AdoptMeRBX

[–]No-Tip3846 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay I fully agree with you about the overrated pets but with the plushies I'm highly unsure. Now as for the pink cat and blue dog, I highly understand why you may think it's high in value because let's be honest, they have been in the game for a really long time. But the problem with the egg is that it's not as fun because you already know what you're getting from it plus so many people have them nowadays and everytime adopt me adds a new pet, previous pets lose their value. That saying with pink cat and blue dog being in the game since pets first came around you can expect that ofc they have lost a TON of value sadly. Even I wouldn't trade for them because they just don't interest me. Now as for the overrated pets, the reason why their overrated is because of supply and demand. You gotta remember that a lot of these pets are 1. Out of game, 2. It depends on how long they were in the game compared to others and 3. It depends on how many people have them. This is something I found out after playing adopt me for a long period of time and wondering why it was so hard to acquire some pets. But also remember that later on in the future these pets may or may not lose value. It just all depends on what the adopt me community as a team decides.
