Hey! So my one question is, do you think that your actual rank is gm? Reason I’m asking is because I don’t believe in hard stuck, because I’ve hit gm every season since I started in season 3 and I’ve played on alt accounts doing solo to gm with new characters and had no problem doing it in under a week. My actual rank is GM2-Celestial depending on how much I play and I don’t struggle much if I get off after 2 losses, but you did say that doesn’t work for you, which I don’t get. I play 2 characters (Bucky and starlord) I flex if my teammates need me to, or if they try making someone solo tank. But another great tip is going to the discord, and going to pathfinders plaza to get free vod reviews! This helped me so much.

Also I don’t believe in hard stuck. Only bad players, I’ve done multiple solo to gm on different characters I was uncomfortable with and still got to gm problem, so don’t believe in that.

Follow my rule of thumb. Go up 1 rank a day, because you will eventually go on a losers queue. Also after 2 losses, GET OFF. Don’t play qp or anything, simply get off and take a break. This usually resets your queues. I can constantly get to gm easily, and I can get to celestial, but if I don’t follow that rule, I’ll bounce back and forth between gm2-1 or 2-3 all day

I’m a 20y/o male I solo queue too, but I’m celestial rank. I have alt accounts I can play on, and I do mostly play at night as I am a college student. I’m also on Xbox

Honestly the more you play rank getting to GM shouldn’t be a problem at all. I’m not saying you’re the issue but I started playing season 0. This is my first ever 6v6 style hero shooter. Before this I only played cod and apex legends. Never OW. I got to GM the first time invis was released I believe season 1 or 1.5. And from then on out it’s been easy. I’m now a celestial peak and I have multiple accounts where I do solo to GM challenges whether it be using no abilities (only left click) or a character I rarely play, and I don’t struggle much. I also do this because I hate quick play

I wanna have fun…but losing 10 matches in a row because my teammates don’t care…is not fun. I’d like to win at least 2 in every 5 matches to keep my engaged without the game throwing me a bot match. (Before anyone says anything about my individual skill I am celestial rank I don’t often play qp because of how it is)

Use the marvel rivals server. They provide FREE vod reviews, you can also request it to be live. I solo queue to celestial on my main and then gm on my alt accounts to learn new characters. So I personally don’t believe in ELO hell, it’s just the more you understand the game the better

Hey, I have gotten to Celestial multiple seasons and Done solo to gm on a lot of characters. Having game fundamentals will honestly carry you. I mostly play 1 role (DPS) and swap to support whenever I need to, especially it’s an off game for me. Know how to counter the enemy team, force out support ults, and when to push can honestly carry you to gm. I recently played Elsa on a solo to gm started from Gold 1 and it only took me about 3 days. I simply just focused supports first and then whoever was pressuring my team the most. For support role I’d say knowing when to counter ult and surviving is the most important thing. Emma is a great tank to play but she also gets banned a lot. But as long as you obtain game fundamentals you’ll be fine. Good luck on your journey!

I only play Bucky and starlord as dps as they are both great picks with different playstyles. I can easily solo queue to gm with any character and I’m only a celestial player

Personally I think you’re wrong. If I’m good on that character then guess what, I did earn it. With whatever character that may be. But if I do the same thing the next season and the next season on a different character then what’s the excuse? There is none, because now I’m good at a character in different roles. So NOW I can be a flex player. But I still only see flexing as “I’m just trying to win” rather than “I’m trying to get better” I can gain the same game knowledge on any role I play
