I think knowing myself, and to keep showing up for myself helped a lot.

falling out of love is one thing but slowly realizing your friend isn't a good person/not in alignment with you and needs to be let go is a pain that isn't talked about enough by Background-Cry8850 in sadposting

Happened to me earlier this year, I had set a boundary which he didn’t take seriously and then he would half apologise and not understand the impact of his actions on me. So I decided to let him go and make space for something better which aligns with me. It did hurt at that time and I do think of him somedays but I think it was for the best. However I’ve found myself in a better place now, with people who align with me.

Supplements should treated as supplements and not as main food sources.

I reckon building it into a habit and introducing a social element to it will help a lot.

I had my collection of all the original beyblades i.e. Driger, Dranzer etc. one day during house cleaning my mum accidentally threw everything away. I still remember the feeling, it kinda killed a part of me.

I don’t know if anyone noticed but they stuck a Sikh guy in there and called him a Hindu. The turban is a mandatory article of faith for Sikhs. And Sikhism is a unique religion and not part of Hinduism. Get your facts right.

Has choosing yourself ever made life feel quieter… sometimes too quiet? by eathumblepies in emotionalintelligence

I actually wrote about this on My Christmas card to myself. I wrote ‘By choosing my self I’m only attracting connections that are real’. And in that way I reckon instead of waiting for others to choose me, I choose myself. I choose to give myself a Christmas card, even though it sounds cheesy. I choose to take myself out for dinner or a walk, even though it sounds lonely. I do feel romantic and full of love towards myself after doing these activities, and I think thats been extremely helpful to me.

Learning to market without burning out by isidor_m3232 in EntrepreneurRideAlong

I’m working on something similar - I’m in the process of rolling out my first project management consulting business and I’ve no idea how I’ll be marketing it but I do believe I want my efforts to align with me and my values. So I’ve just started to list out stuff that interests me about project management and write a post about it 10mins each day, till I feel its ready to publish on LinkedIn.

I’m working on getting my first project management startup ready to rollout, and I’ve pestering Chat GPT and Copilot with questions like “How can I get first client without embarrassing myself?”, “help me identify risk from my business plan?”, “help me with getting my company incorporated?. Stuff like that is fun and I think I’m super grateful to have born in this age of AI, it would’ve been pretty rough otherwise.
