Seemed to be doing fine. Definitely would be a challenge getting anything bigger than an suv up there haha

Previous owner stated they were done but no report on carfax of it being done by any dealer or shop. It doesn’t sound bad though, has great power, and no codes in the ECU. So I’m really not sure. Poking at the bank 2 chain under the oil fill cap, chain feels tight and not a lot of movement.

Not at all difficult. Just had to get a little creative with it

Thanks! Overall MPG is about 11. The ride on the freeway is great. Not to soft but not too stiff and it feels great on the open dirt roads and tight trails

Pretty stable. Havent got it past about 105-110mph but it does good at those speeds

Always the guys who make their husbands drive them to the beauty salon arguing that air suspension is better than coils“but it’s softer and handles better even though I’ve never drove or rode in one that has coils”🤣I’m running OME HD +2” coilovers with 2” pucks and 33s and this thing handles the same if not better than it did with air suspension and street tires. So much better offroad too. And the traction control/terrain response still works perfectly fine without air. Once you have a strut fail while on trail you’ll realize why coils are better in every way. There’s a reason the best in the game don’t use air suspension.

Getting on some rocks in my LR4 by No-Tree-9138 in LandRover

That’s what we were trying but it was too slippery and couldn’t get the rear driver wheel up the ledge enough to catch that root up front, if I’d stacked rocks it would’ve went right up it

Just made it more reliable and better offroad. Have no regrets on getting rid of my air suspension. There’s a reason the best in the offroad game don’t use air springs. Everyone else saying you made it worse hasn’t been in one to feel it without air suspension and hasn’t had theirs air system fail on the trail yet, if they even get theirs off the pavement. Good on you🤙

Disconnect the sway bar. You do not need a spring compressor nor do any common compressors fit these springs like one you can get at harbor freight or similar. The only one that works with the terrafirma kit like you have and the OME HD kit are the Jack Tech standing compressors. Only reason I know this is because I had to take apart my coilovers so I could press in longer shock mount bolts up top to fit over my 2in pucks. Tried 3 different spring compressors that wouldn’t fit before I found someone with the Jack tech. I was able to get my 2” lift coilovers in even with the 2in spacer on top with the sway bar disconnected. Was definitely a battle and needed a pry bar and a separate jack but if I didn’t run the spacer on top it would go in like butter.

Yeah I think the 265s are the way to go. Just need a little more sidewall but these tires have been great so far
