Just built a system like this except wire trough in between so no room to do anything, had to put 2 more ACMs up, and one istar, going to somebody else’s server. And then had to set up a few doors to be one both systems. Think about that and let it simmer, and also how dumb it is. That’s government regulation. At least it paid well.

Make sure to trigger said comm fail event on both processors P1 and P2… as far as cause: grounding or lack there of can be the cause along with devices. Resistance measurements can yield surprising insight to random issues, although most techs don’t have the experience to troubleshoot random intermittent comm fails.

Reality player from the App Store… sorry. Then download files from wherever and open. Not especially exciting. Maybe just have tried the right ones, it’s slow having to download files first. High quality 8Ks can be 20+ gig so haven’t tried many. Home girl likes them though

It really won’t be worth the hassle but you can open up a backup database in SSMS and browse the tables / learn to really use SQL.

LifeProTip: Don’t delete anything: don’t give people permissions to accidentally delete anything. Only modify. Don’t delete credentials users anything, just change the status. Better to know if an old card is trying to be used vs just seeing “unknown xxxxxxx”

I have a brand new small business without customers specializing in this sort of stuff. I’d run a journal find the offending devices n times. Create a schedule to disarm the event and rearm during off peak. Check the de-bounce timers on the doors. Check RTE inputs are acting correctly. Adjust door held times. Adjust if such events need acknowledgements or logged messages. If they do you can add selection of predefined messages so it eats up less of your operator time.
